Olga scooped a handful of caviar and threw it under Batgirl's feet causing her to slip and hit her head. It's not a wonderfully thought out or overly tricky trap buit it's a trap nonetheless.

This is a private joke. In another thread 1bat1girl mistakenly referred to charlie as Peedy.

The sabre dance was a deathtrap. Throwing caviar under her feet was how they rendered her helpless and prepared her for the trap. it's not very elaborate but it is a trap.

"My favorite part of the whole... Trapped in Ffogg Place's Dungeon... scene, is just after Lord Ffogg and Lady Peasoup push Batman down the dungeon's stairs. And Batgirl instinctively steps forward to go to the aid of Batman... but is held back by her wrist shackles... "

The above is the listing for "trap" at the Merriam-Webster dictionary website. As with many words, there seem to be multiple accepted meanings, some of which are broad , some more specific.

Cage got the Peedy reference, too, but didn't want to barge in. Embarrassed

I kinda feel like I'm already coming too close to dominating a couple of Batgirl threads. Grin

I should note, however, that I really like the name, "Peedy", and I've found myself calling Charlie by that name, just for fun. Maybe we can establlish it as a real nickname for Charlie, if we can get enough people to use it. Grin

i still say the sabre dance is a trap. i read twof's website, the batgirl bat trap homepage, and he talked about how batgirl was knocked out for a long time after she slipped on the caviar olga threw at her feet, and during that time they talked about what to do to her, and how egghead probably wanted to just drown her in caviar (i think a missed opportunity was to make her walk the plank in to it) while olga said they should make her sabre dance for them. so it's premediated by olga thinking about it and then making her do it.
