It would be worth asking V194, he's a real authority on matters like that. Alternatively you could have a look at John Haigs Hornet Costume and Prop reference site-you'll find the link from my link old link directory in my signature.

Don't quote me on this, but i believe Scotts got a replica sting, ask him perhaps?

I have one of the high dollar sting replicas that was made in the 90's and it fully extended is 42.75"
Now the replicas were a little larger (closed) than the original ones, but that should get you in the ballpark.

V-194,can you share with us color photos of your high-end Sting Gun Replica,how it works,where it lights up,how does it extend,and retract back in,how does it do the sound,etc?!John Haig's Hornet Costume & Prop Referance Site sounds helpful,too.I hope some Prop Making Companies do a very well done,very well made,Sting Gun.One that is also affordable,and reasonably priced for all us "Green Hornet"Fans,the sooner,the better,I look forward to it,can hardly wait!
