And if you just can't get enough of Clock King and Millie, here is a text story featuring the two of them from an old British comic book.

Whoa, cool find, Roo!  Could we see the conclusion to it?

Did the British comics frequently do text pieces like that?  That's more West/Dozier inspired than anything DC ever did!  How many villains got the prose treatment in Brit comics?  Did they do their own standard comics stories, as well, or just original text pieces?

It's a bit abrupt, I know, but that is the ending. I've often wondered about that myself.

In the Sixties, British comics like TV Tornado and Super DC used to give British superhero fans a mixture of reprinted comic strips from the U.S. and all new text stories. The Batman text stories were often heavily influenced by the television show rather than the DC comics.

You can find another Batman text story, plus a Green Hornet comic strip, in this thread:

A couple of caps of Eileen O'Neil from "Burke's Law".    I have to admit, I like her hairstyle better here than as Millie Second.

...

...

A reminder that the second half of S1 of "Burke's Law" which should feature a few more appearances of Eileen, comes out in mid-November on DVD.    It's also a great chance to see many other Bat villains show up as murderers or suspects (Burgess Meredith, Cesar Romero, Ida Lupino, Howard Duff, Carolyn Jones, Nancy Kovack and many more).

She is one of the many reasons why I need to get the DVDs of Burke's Law. This show should have lasted a LOT longer, but in 1965, it was turned into a spy show by the network. Producer Aaron Spelling warned against this, and he was so correct! Incidentally, this show spun off Honey West, which ran on Friday nights in 1965-66, right after The Addams Family.
