His name was Desmond Doomsday aka William Dozier the producer.

Its too bad that today TV shows dont have Narrators like they used to. The only modern narrator that I know of is the women who does the begining and end of Desperate Housewifes. Pink

William Dozier himself refers to the name "Desmond Doomsday" as the narrator in that "Telescope" TV interview. I'm not sure where else it is "officially" referenced"
