The Bat-wings affected the flight characteristics (thrust) and the Bat-head SERIOUSLY blocked the pilot's view on landing!
Gene had the copter repainted after M*A*S*H and said that WB MANDATED that he had to use the '89 movie Bat-logos on the tanks.

I mean I look at the history page and that's one of the most famous scenes in TV history. That's a HUGE omission if it's true.

I asked Eugene today if the Batcopter was used in M*A*S*H*. He told John & I directly that the Batcopter was not used in M*A*S*H* at all. That it was a total different copter used.
I hope this clears everything up.
