Re: Yvonne Craig - May 16, 1937 – August 17, 2015 :(

She will be missed. I was surprised to see the news as a friend of mine posted her obituary on my Faceboook timeline. I almost met her this past June at the Niagara Falls Comic Con. But shortly before the show, she cancelled due to what she said was "Abdominal Surgery." And attending the s...

Re: How Old is Robin supposed to be?

I always felt that early on they tried to make him younger with all the "golly gee's" and stuff like that. Not to mention when he is coming down the stairs with Aunt Harriet in the first episode, he's carrying a toy airplane like he was just in his room zooming that thing around. But then,...

Re: Who has watched all 120 episodes?

I have twice already, and am on my third round. I binge watch...I normally listen to talk radio during the day, but between 12:00 and 3:00 there is nothing good on the radio, so I pop in whatever TV show I pick to watch, and now it's Batman's turn again. I'm about a third of the way through the seco...

Re: Robin

Robin always seemed like the smart one to me. It was like Batman would not be able to solve any crime without Robin. It seems whenever Batman is confounded over something, Robin comes up with the answers. Especially the Riddler episodes. Robin always seems to come up with the answers. In the first e...

Re: Anyone here old enough to remember the original run?

I'm 57 and remember the original run of Batman quite well. In fact, I only caught the second episodes back then because I was a huge Lost in Space fan, and being on opposite the first episodes, I missed them. I remember my dad walking into the living room and we were in the middle of Lost in Space a...

Re: Series Finale? should there be one

I say there should not be a series finale. I like to think that the caped crusaders are still out there fighting crime wherever it may be.

Re: Color of original Bat-tights

When I built my Batman (Adam West) model, I used a slate gray paint for the shirt and tights, and it turned out pretty well.

Re: BATMAN: Season 3 - which was best?

I agree with some of the previous posts...the Shame episode was well done. Frontier Fanny was supposed to be Calamity Jan's mother, yet spoke with a cockney accent, and the of course Fred with his accent who sounded like a butler. The whole two parter was a joy to watch. Besides, to see such a serio...

Re: Things you didn't notice or remember until seeing the DV

That is exactly what they did- they call it time compression. Removing a few seconds here and there that do not alter the story line so that they can fit more ads in. TONS of shows do this in syndication. I know how they cut up shows of a TV series, but the bootlegs I bought was labled "ALL EP...

Eartha Kitt as Catwoman

I have a question, and pardon me if it's been covered, I haven't been around for a while. But why did they go with Ertha Kitt as Catwoman instead of staying with the queen of Catwomen, Julie Newmar. Did Julie quit? Did she want more money, so they did a John Aston on her? Ertha was good, but for me,...

Re: Things you didn't notice or remember until seeing the DV

I don't know If it's my imagination, but I have had a series of bootlegs for a few years now, and they were advertised as being the complete shows...uncut. But now when I watch the Blu Rays, I'm noticing little scenes that were not there on the bootlegs but are in the show. Example...when the Riddle...

I could never figure out how Molly fell into the reactor...it was almost like she was sucked in. Even as a kid I wondered why she just didn't grab Batman's hand. What was preventing her from grabbing it. I mean doddering old Alfred pokes around up there all the time and never falls in, yet Molly in ...

She did a guest shot on the Partridge Family too. She played the theme park representative who was hired to show the group around an amusement park during their stay there and Keith and Danny fell in love with her. They were competing for her attention throughout the episode.

For me it's always been King Tut. Victor Buono was great in anything he did. He was in a movie called Who's Minding the Mint and was equally hysterical in there. Then he played Jim Ignatowski's father on Taxi...funny there too. I love all the King Tut episodes.
