Re: The (Jigsaw) Puzzles are Coming

Jim, I made this one last year and it was a hoot. Best suggested strategy is the time-honored one of completing the outline first and filling in afterward. You already have the center logo as a guide. From there I went with locating, completing, and roughly positioning within the frame the villains'...

Card at the show says available summer 2020 so should be soon.
Not here, Andy. Winter never ends in the Great White North don'cha know? I absolutely, unequivocally, unarguably, and a 1,000 other whatever suffix-ending 'ly's' HATE Winter!!

Who are the other two? Geoff John's and Brian Michael Bendis? Personally wish Bendis had gone first.
John Mack, yes, Johns is one but my long-time comic fan pals and I are all for dumping ever-smilin' Jim Lee as well. He's also well responsible for the train wreck DC Comics have become.

Re: Eaglemoss Batman Decades Figures

I had a look at the Eaglemoss USA site. I'm interested in the figures from the '60s, ''70s, '80s' and '90s. I'll check at my comic shop where my visits have dropped from weekly a couple years ago to bi-annually as there just seems to be so little of interest emerging onto the market.

Okay, this interests me severely. I just may continue collecting as there is hope after all.

Re: First Look - Battinson Revealed

For what it's worth regarding Adam's chest logo placement, only once was it properly done (that I've observed) and that's in the season 1 first Joker appearance in the Comedians Hall of Fame museum scenes. Obviously whoever was responsible for placing the bat stickers wasn't working that day and the...

Re: First Look - Battinson Revealed

Of you're still interested, looks like there's new photos of the full suit, and a batcycle: https://toynewsi.com/414-35693 Don't know if that's Pattinson or a stuntman, but he's rocking the chin! Also, no cape in this scene, but that could mean anything: (1) there's no cape to this suit, (2) he's t...

Re: First Look - Battinson Revealed

Nolan's Batman was Agent 007 Darth Batman. Snyder's Batman was Charcoal Briquetteman. So, as I've read many complaints elsewhere online about Pattinson's rather thin build and large head, then I'll go ahead and declare (in my best Bugs Bunny as the king voice) - "I dub thee Pez Dispenser Batman".

First Look - Battinson Revealed

Right up front I'll say I'm not at all interested in this film. I'm sick and tired of Hollywood constantly trying to reinvent the wheel when it comes to Batman and other comic heroes. https://vimeo.com/391277390 I'm out. Another all black, all armored Batman with a cheesy batarang clipped to ...

Robert Conrad Has Passed

Robert Conrad passed today at 84. Almost all of the legends from the classic '60s era of television are gone now. There won't ever be any more like them again. :(

Re: New Movie house has the GH rights!

I'm with Andy on this. Although I made an exception for Keaton's Batman because it was still somewhat in the realm of comics despite Tim Burton's narcissistic ham-handed approach, I can't get into rubber suited or armored Batman costumes or all things CGI. Thor without the iconic winged-helmet lost ...

Anyone Remember Dark Shadows' Willie Loomis?

Actor John Karlen died on January 22 in Burbank, CA. from congestive heart failure. I wish him well in his journey. It seems every day more of the old childhood memories are being chipped away.

Re: 1970s Batman - Missed Opportunity

SprangFan, this is true. He was Superman in those old '70s Air Force recruiting commercials, but he never struck me as the Superman type. I believe he was more suited to play Batman.
