Re: Penguin Air Indicator Prop 1:6 scale - Fine Finny Fiends
Very nice and accurate prop from the episode. Love the detail. That last screen grab reminds me of when I got the blu-ray set and re-watched the episode after so many years and realizing just how much certain scenes or dialogue were "adult-oriented" and went right over our heads as kids. S...

Re: 20th Year Anniversary Meeting Adam West
I met Adam and Burt at a car show in Montreal in the fall of 1976. The line-up in the convention center was massive and they came out in their costumes to wild applause. My very young self was absolutely stunned when it was my turn to get my official photo signed by both of them. I could only mumble...

Re: A Letter from Lewis Wilson (The Original Batman)
Amazing discovery, Andy. The paper, ink, and handwriting remind me of a time long before email and everything internet when people would write as even long-distance phoning was deemed too expensive and reserved only for holiday calling, birthdays, and urgent news be it good or bad. Bic Pens must hav...

Re: Adam West in "The Girl Who Knew Too Much"
Sounds like the perfect title for a crime drama about a young woman who makes it up into Hollywood's higher echelons.

Re: Lynda Carter as Classic Catwoman
Yeah, it is pretty close. I can just hear the theme show music right now:
"Dah-Dah, Dah-Duh, Dah-Dah! Catwomaaaan.... Catwomaaaan.... Your Meow-Mix is waiting for youuuuu..."
(I wonder if Linda could sing "I want tuna, I want liver, I want chicken, please deliver..."?)

Re: A small pre-production find
Adam, being so thin at that time, should have gone to that famous 1960s L.A. heath club, the Spa Getty.

Re: Batman CBS late movie 1970s
Good god, the theme music of the CBS Late Movie makes me heartsick for that era. What I'd give for when things like TV and movies were actually entertaining and not so easily accessible. It seemed like we appreciated them more back then.

Re: 1/8 Batmobile Mego scaled from Fanhome
Great points-- even with FTC's 66 Batman figures-- you're not talking "screen accurate". It's funny how things play out-- when I was a kid I played with my Mego Batman and Robin figures and to me they WERE Adam and Burt-- I would have loved the FTC versions back then (or so I thought), bu...

This is really well done. I especially like all the ads and logos. Is there a place to keep the shark? And don't forget - The Malachi Brothers and their 'Crunch' RULE!

Re: 1/8 Batmobile Mego scaled from Fanhome
Or how about just saying "thanks for your inquiry-- it'll cost $1691.57 when all is said and done."? In Canada that converts to (as of this typing) $2,286.70. Sorry Fanhome, but I can really put that money to better use. 8-) And to think that the original Corgi Batmobile that started all ...

Re: 1/8 Batmobile Mego scaled from Fanhome
The collectibles market, from what I've seen on other websites, is completely out of control now, price-wise. Then add to that how we constantly hear how many people are struggling financially now and I just don't know who the hell is buying all this stuff!
