That cowl is from late season two, My least favorite of all the cowls. He also wore it in the Batgirl pilot.

I would love for the exhibit to go on tour across the country so Batfans in other cities can see it.

That sounds amazing! I wish they would have used it in the soundtrack for the last two animated movies.

The reverse side of the Bat computer has a brown shelf that is supposed to represent Wayne Manor.

The computer is terrific. I also like the pilot cowl that you have on. My favorite from the show.

Re: Batman Comic fans on TV Series?

I believe the reason the screen test costume was designed the way it was is that the yellow oval surrounding the bat emblem on batman's chest wasn't introduced until 1964. so they probably weren't aware of it when they designed the costume. The pilot was filmed in 1965.

Re: Words not meant to be funny but make you laugh anyway...

Ive got another one. In the movie, where they are stuck to the buoy and The villains are firing torpedoes at them, Batman uses his Bat communicator in reverse polarity to send out waves of super energy to jam the torpedoes. The Penguin deduces, " He must have a Super Energy Reverse Polarizer!!!

Re: Words not meant to be funny but make you laugh anyway...

In part 2 of the first Penguin episode, Batman fires the Bat-zooka to shoot their grappling hook over a wall that was too high to throw the bat-a rang. One of the Penguin's goons heard the blast and said "What was that?" The other goon said " Sounds like a Bat-zooka!" That cracks me up every time.

Just throwing my 2 cents in. The special features part of the Super powers Team, Galactic Guardians has interviews from the Hannah Barbera people stating that the "The Fear" episode was indeed a pilot for a new animated Batman cartoon.

Re: Times when the Dynamic Duo were stupid

They couldn't hold villains in prison for major crimes, let alone minor ones. They are usually free in about a month or less. So I have to agree with Bruce Wayne.
