Somewhat ironically, "LIVE AND LET DIE" is said to have opened in the U.S. eight days prior to its London premiere.

Re: Miss Treachury.

My guess is that it was just a nickname/reference name for Catwoman. The card back text states at the end...."and capture his feline foe" and it is card 3 of 6 of the "CAT WOMAN PUZZLE BACKS". Given the abundance of previously-nonexistent villains that occupy the 2nd Series, it'...

Freeze that Moment

Tonight marks fifty years since the original broadcast of "RATS LIKE CHEESE", and I still remember a moment with the episode that evening.

Re: Season three "LOVIN IT!"

I also forgot to mention that Batgirl, brought a whole other dimension to the show. I love her interaction with Commissioner Gordon and Batman and Robin. Plus I thought it was a stroke of genius to have Alfred know her real identity and help her. Plus Yvonne Craig looked fantastic in the bathing su...

Re: Season three "LOVIN IT!"

Great link! The Golden Jet and Ole elbows are two of my all time faves! What a line up, Orr, Espo, Trembley, Gump Worsley, Giacomin...What a lineup! Yeah, batjonsey36, that first team was made up of half of a common "Dream Team": Orr rushing the ice, Hull's wicked slap-shots with his hype...

Coming from the Chuck Barris/George Barris confusion of 1976, I'm biased, but "SURF'S UP! JOKER'S UNDER!" arguably drops in front of all the other third season episodes. The First Team of super-criminals in "The Entrancing Dr. Cassandra" has that mixed all-stars appeal to it. htt...

Re: First Time I ever saw Green Hornet

OP: interesting story! I do not have the official syndication package data at hand, but in the Los Angeles market (my home city), The Green Hornet was a total no-show in syndication until the FX channel brought it back in the early 1990s. Until then, one had to rely on the Batman crossover episode,...
