Re: Holy Oh-No! Batman '66 comic near end of line(?)

There must be something that we can do to help bring this series back. With Adam gone the comics is the last source to continue the adventures of the most famous Batman of all time. Don't be sad it's over, be glad it happened. My thoughts too. It was a really solid comic and I still re-read those s...

Re: Post Here Whenever You're Watching Batman

I loved the TV show before, but with Adam's passing I actually appreciate it even more. Nothing ever dies. The fun remains.

Re: Who made it into the Batcave?

One thing I never noticed until re-watching the episodes in original-airdate order: Bookworm's turn and Riddler's silent movie caper gave us two batcave interrogations of molls on consecutive weeks. What's odd about that is the different truth extraction methods used in each case: Lydia Limpet was ...

When they play around with The Joker, yes I agree. But the concept of Joker in Wayne Manor nearly stumbling along the batcave and putting two and two together is very dramatic.

True, and Romero's Joker had the whole 'battle for Gotham's soul' angle in this episode. Tempting the students to cheat and give in to easy living.

I think she would have given the villains did have molls.

Re: Robin

I can't remember the episode at the moment, but Batman and Robin are in the batcave and Batman is down on himself. Robin says something along the lines of "chin up old chum, it's not over yet." The usual dynamic was reversed, and I liked that. Robin became a better person all the time by l...

Re: Most Dramatic Moment

A few from me, some already have been mentioned: Batman and Robin getting gunned down in public by the blanks. Gordon's staged death. The bomb in the batmobile exploding in the batcave. Batman scaring the crook with his silhouette during Gordon and O'Hara's interrogation. Joker in Wayne Manor, disco...

Re: Fanfic-The Origin of Catwoman Reimagined

I always assumed that Catwoman just found Robin annoying. He was also a third wheel in the episodes where she wants to hook up with Batman. I agree. I don't think Catwoman was serious about killing Robin. I think she's being flippant, unable to think of another solution to keep Robin away. Despite ...

I got this last week - it made me go back and watch 'A Piece of the Action'/'Batman's Satisfaction'. It's a very good comic. I particularly love what they did to expand the character of Gumm. Very recommended!

Re: New Adam & Burt Animated BATMAN movie

According to 13th dimension Julie Newmar will appear in the movie. http://13thdimension.com/exclusive-julie-newmar-will-be-in-batman-66-animated-film/ Fantastic. If the movie can look somewhat like this, I'd be thrilled: https://dcomixologyssl.sslcs.cdngc.net/i/10652/43916/fe7a607bb36eb74f82b222c8c...
