Re: The Archer Goggles found
I saw those in a recent auction and wondered about them. A buddy of mine has had a pair in his collection for years and if i remember correctly they were just styrene vacuumed formed, (Don't know what the Donor buck was made from, Toy?) and a slit cut out with a red jell sheet pasted on the inside. ...

I use to buy stuff from Rex also. Always dark, bad contrast and now we have DVDs and Blu-Rays all restored and nice. Rex and guys like him, Toy Shop, those were are go too's before eBay and of course the comic Con's. What a change.

Re: Chief O' Hara's Gotham City Toy Badge in package
Well don't because I made this. Sorry, but I was just having some fun. It does look like something that should have existed though. I did put it into the craft forum. 😆  GOT Me . Wow,that is a good job, the cardboard backing even looks like the Japaneses tin badges they made back in the...

I was there in 1988 for the "International Superman Exposition", It was a great time, I met a lot of the Superman family, Kirk Alyn, Jack Larson, and Noel Neill. Met up with my friend Curt Swan again, he was a great guy and a super artist. Met and became friends with fellow collector Jim B...

Re: Bat Magnet gun parts
Thanks Steve!!! I appreciate the time and effort! With so many options, I agree, it would take a stroke of luck to find the exact item. Very possibly created from odds and ends in the old spare parts box. Thanks so much to everyone that took the time to help me out. It's appreciated! You Are Welcom...

Re: Bat Magnet gun parts
At this point I'm exhausted..... Why could they not have just used a Red Ryder. I'm convinced it's either a BB or Air rifle at this point. But it must be an awful obscure one. The bulges on the gun that Biff called out could be to house the air gun bladder or cocking mechanics. At this point i...

Re: Bat Magnet gun parts
i found the same photos you did Randy. I don't see any chamber to load a round. maybe a real Gun and maybe the spool hides the pump action for an air rifle. Also the stock looks plastic, why I thought in might be an air gun and from the shotguns I've used it still seems a little small to me to be a ...

Re: Bat Magnet gun parts
I agree with SteveA. This prop looks to be more "handmade" from wood and wire than most of the other props that used donor parts. I will see if I can lighten up some images and see the rifle part better. I have not been able to determine the model of the gun used. I've seen a few photos o...

Re: Bat Magnet gun parts
Hi All, Someone was asking if the donor parts of the Bat-Magnet gun had been identified. I couldn't recall if they were or not so I thought I'd ask. Thanks in advance for any insight! Chuck... From the looks of things just different gauges of brass wire. The site has weld spots so it ;looks like ju...

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?
thanks Andy. it's so cool to see them and I, love that Batplane in the '43 poster. It would have been cool to see that and a Batmobile in the serials. I love that he sent me that Mole Men poster as a bonus thank you gift. It's the rare 1/2 sheet and not the common one found in the press-book. The on...

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?
Just picked up a few 3-Sheets for my poster collection. The 1949 Batman serial, 1943 Batman Serial r-54, Captain Marvel, King of the Rocketman, and both the Superman Serials. I was suppose to get a Superman and the Molemen 3-sheet as well but they forgot that one , wrote them about the mistake. The...

Re: Batman Sofubi
Note: I've known Danny for years and he's a good guy, but English is not his best. Keep in mind if you have to communicate that the Cantonese language is much harsher than English-- it doesn't have the nuances we do-- so if you have quesitons he sometimes sounds rude, that is not the case. You can ...

Re: Batman Sofubi
The company that makes Sofubi figures of the Space Flyman, a classic bootleg toy from the 60s, is releasing an Italian Poster version. https://toyunderground.com/store/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/Awesome-Toy-Spcace-Flyman-Set-Red-Black-1024-01.jpg I kind of dig this. I like these, any link or orderi...
