Re: Suggestions for best Batman and Robin costumes...
The boots from China took about 3-4 weeks to get to me. They're a little tall compared to the screen version. Sorry they were too tall. Did you provide the correct measurements and they messed up? No, the only size you could pick was the actual foot size not the height. From the picture on eBay, it...

Andy, inspired work as always...visually, how would Raymond Massey work as the Joker? I think that his leering grin from such roles as he played in "The Scarlet Pimpernel" and "Arsenic and Old Lace" would translate well to the Joker's trademark rictus.

I thought Two-Face looked more like Robert Wagner...by the way Jimmy, always great to hear an old term like, "Jake" getting some modern usage.

Re: Wish I Could Afford This
Can I be honest? I've got one of these and given the size of the actual figures...$400 is a bit steep. Granted, it was one of the first steps towards the slew of merchandise directly connected to the show that we now have. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad I picked one up but I don't think it's worth tha...

Re: '66 Batman beach towels
That last one, with them running, was a beach towel. I had it and my mom folded over the top of the towel, sewed it together and then I ran a dowel through it and used it as a hanging banner in my bedroom. Years later, my two nephews got to use it and more recently, my son took his baths with it. It...

Re: BATMAN SINISTER SIDESHOW of DR SCORPiO
Ok, Andy, I should have known better than to jump the gun. Now it makes sense why you had whoever it is say "Shazam" instead of '...the Wizard". I guess the question now is would Batman have caught this slip if he knows anything about Capt. Marvel?

Re: BATMAN SINISTER SIDESHOW of DR SCORPiO
Not to be a nitpicker...but shouldn't Captain Marvel have said "...talk to the Wizard..." instead of "Shazam" because saying "Shazam" should have turned him back into Billy Batson? All in all, I still marvel at your talent, Andy.

That Earth-Two Robin shirt is inspired. Ordered mine last night after I saw this thread. Thanks for posting it Dan! By the way, enjoyed the 13 covers focusing on Robin on your site. I always enjoy that feature. I'd add Justice League #55, with the Earth Two Robin making his Silver Age appearance.

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?
At the Five Belows near me in Michigan, the one in Novi and in Brighton, they had Robin, Batgirl, Batman and the Riddler. They also had the bendees based on the designs from the New Frontier comic book. Batman and Wonder Woman, if I remember correctly.
