Batman sure sold a lot of color TVs

:D

Also notice they were giving away photos of Batman and Robin in the Batmobile. It's in the ad near Robin, kinda hard to read.

Re: Evel Knievel Stunt Cycle Returns

Pretty sure the handle bars broke off on mine because I remember Evel holding on by his feet, but it was a toy I heavily plaid with. Ahh, ok. I was just unlucky for it to have happened the first time. I also remember my Evel''s suit. It was white like this remake. Pretty sure other versions had his...

Re: Evel Knievel Stunt Cycle Returns

So, was I the only one that had bad luck with the handle bars cracking off after a bad landing? I figured since it happened to me on the first run, someone may have had it happen after say the 10th run?

Like most of you I grew up on the big four: Joker, Penquin, The Riddler, and Catwoman. But when I got older Victor Buono had the most amazing depth. He was so good being silly one moment, hilarious the next then equally maniacal also. "Dance you slaves!, music.....Bat music".
Notice my tagline..

Re: Evel Knievel Stunt Cycle Returns

Oh yes, I got one Christmas the first year they came out, 1974??? Later, my dad told me he had a heck of a time finding one and had to answer an ad in our local paper from what we'd now call a hoarder. He paid $25 for it, which back then was insane. The FIRST TIME I used it, Evel went flying on his ...

Re: New Mezco Figure

I think the below is the Mezco line to watch. They are apparently doing retro style figures of Hanna-Barbera characters. The prototypes shown are Birdman and one of the Scooby villains. Apparently more to be revealed at ToyFair. This makes me happy. http://www.actionfigureinsider.com/mezcotoyz-teas...

Re: One Bites But The Other Is Da Bomb!

Nice find Keith. I didnt even know they existed. Oh yes. Came out in 2013. Discontinued now. As with many of the lines, they didnt meet expectations sales wise and that was that. Not sure what companies expect. They all sold out. Anyway, Google them. There was a large Batmobile in the line as well.

Re: 2019 JADA Batmobile kit

Much better than the Polar Lights kit I just built figure wise, except Batman can't sit in the Batmobile. My Bat beam broke when assembling the Polar Lights car. I need to get a replacement part. All in all though, the Jada kit seems better though. Thanks for posting. I'll need to study it closer, b...

Re: I think Dozier rolled the dice with Gorshin

I remember seeing Frank Gorshin all over the tube before appearing on Batman. He was on all the variety shows back then. Anyone reading Batman comic books prior to the show's debut would know who the Riddler way so I don't see it as a gamble at all. From what I've read over the years, as I stated i...

Re: I think Dozier rolled the dice with Gorshin

I agree. But remember, his gamble almost didn't pay off. It was only ABC's rough position to get something on air that pushed it through. According to legend, the testing for series did not go well, so why they decided to still go with it after that is a mystery to me. And then there's why did they ...

Re: Jada 1/18 Batmobile

Well, heck....here I go again. The last thing I need is ANOTHER Batmobile lol. Some (my wife included) think I'm silly for buying a Batmobile just to get the figures. It's a little more than that, however it does appear that way to people around me, as I've commented on the figures more so than the ...
