Re: Jim Lee HEX Backpack FS

I suppose a hundred bucks is a good price? But if I could afford a hundred bucks for a backpack, I'd be in heaven. Poverty bites.

When Batman came on TV I was 3. What drew me to the show was the music. Say, anyone remember my "official" Batmusic thread?

Re: Bob Iger steps down as Disney CEO and my thoughts on BatDrac

I'm just a TV series fan as I said. Never read the comic books much. So to me, Batman was scifi. I understand the horror aspect of the comic book Batman, but as only being a TV series fan, you can see how confused that made me. Oh well, just a character, not the end of the world.

Bob Iger steps down as Disney CEO and my thoughts on BatDrac

Not sure how this could tie into the purported Disney/Marvel buying DC thing, but thought the timing of it all rather odd. Strange thing is, I could care less who owns Batman in his current form. I find this whole horror/fantasy route they've done to Batman unappealing. He's like Dracula with a car....

Re: Disney/Marvel to buy DC

This is all premature. But I think if Disney did buy DC we'd see more cool, and detailed (not bubble headed, large silly looking) 1966 related figures. And maybe even the elusive complete soundtrack.
Just heard Bob Iger has stepped down at Disney, so I'm not sure what could all happen (or not) now.

Re: Toy Fair 2020 66 Batman pics

He also seems to have some paint loss on the left glove. I think this could just be some kind of prototype. Yes maybe prototypes. Batman's "bib", ears, eyebrows are a little off IMO. The logo placement is spot on. I was wondering (also asked in the Cos babys thread) do you think this lice...

Re: Toy Fair 2020 66 Batman pics

Do you know what scale it is? They're 3.75" tall, same as the Funko ones were, whatever scale that makes them? 1/150th? lol. So, here's my question: What is off about Batman? Is it his cowl? I like it, it just appears something is a bit off. Also, what's up with Robin's logo? Something around ...

I do agree Lee's style with Batman, especially those extremely long ears is not my favorite, but I am not familiar with his decision making.

Who are the other two? Geoff John's and Brian Michael Bendis? Personally wish Bendis had gone first.
