Re: Who is in the Bat-suit?
I actually talked about these photos taken at the premiere that showed up a while ago on Facebook. The appearance was described as being "Batman", no mention of Adam West. I'm pretty sure it's Hubie Kerns. There is another from this appearance taken straight on with Batman standing up in t...

yep, if someone could recreate the tone of the first 12 episodes or so that could be interesting. Maybe people are tired of the angry Batman in the suit of armor.

Re: '65 Chrysler Imperial
I've owned two of these cars, I bought them on impulse, I had to have them. Both ran for a bit and then nothing. Unless you know how to work on cars they're money pits, so be careful.

Well, again the fan mail angle has been repeated ad nauseum but where is the proof of that. I certainly think it's possible but I haven't read any articles from the period that confirm it. Trendle was a real pain in the ***Censored on this rated G site*** for Dozier but I think he was right in this ...

Re: CBS Sunday Morning Bruce Lee Tribute
Well the old screen test was for Number One Son in 1965. A proposed idea where Bruce would play the son of Charlie Chan. Also, there is no actual , hard, concrete evidence that Bruce came up with the idea for Kung Fu. Read Matthew Polley's book. The old racism charges crop up when in fact it was the...

Re: TO THE BATPOLES #204: “Rembrandt III”: Watching paint dry
Actually what killed the series was the fad ran it's course, as all fads do. Even if the scripts had retained the tone a quality of the first season, I don't think it would've mattered. The curiosity of the adults had waned (no pun intended) and that was almost all she wrote.

I gotta say, these two guys really stayed in great shape for a long time. The only other guy who was comparable was Clayton Moore as the Lone Ranger: he looked great into his seventies.
