Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

I would never expect anything beyond the main heroes, the "big four" villains, with a remote chance of a Mr. Freeze, but under no circumstances would I ever believe figures of the Archer, Commissioner Gordon, O'Hara, Bookworm, False Face... There's not enough interest. There are no licens...

Re: Chandell Headknocker?

My Batman and Robin "Batman '66" Bobbleheads have just come out of storage, where they have been since 2014, way longer than I intended. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53438506352_ae0ca3b4a5.jpg Batman '66 and Green Hornet Bobbleheads by Ian McLean , on Flickr My four "Batman '66...

Re: Alinta Christmas Pageant 2023 in Australia

I can’t work out if Penguin is driving or it is a deliberate right-hand drive vehicle (because its owner lives in Australia). The commentators mentioned that the Perth-based local Batman only makes one public appearance each year and it is for this Christmas pageant. Total fluke that I had my iPhone...

Alinta Christmas Pageant 2023 in Australia

On Christmas morning, here in Australia, I happened across the replay telecast of the Alinta Christmas Pageant just in time to see Perth’s Batmobile (1966), with Batman and the Penguin waving to the crowd. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53422231624_4d7eef7e27.jpg Alinta Christmas Pageant 2023 B...

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?

Today I found the "Batman '66" Funko Soda here in Sydney! Different to the previous one, which was comics Batman (of the 70s?). And now The Joker has turned up! https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53359676359_f2dbe462f8.jpg Funko Soda Batman 1966 and Joker by Ian McLean , on Flickr

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?

I never understood why they didn’t release a standalone HotWheels Batgirl motorcycle. The three pack still would have been an SDCC exclusive. Took me 15 years to finally get one? Wow. I did not realize it had been that long, Ian. I guess it falls into the old "female-connected toy" stored...

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?

Finally, FINALLY snagged a reasonably priced SDCC HotWheels three pack with Batgirl’s motorcycle. I love that set. I found mine at a local toy show, having never seen it before! Exclusive to 2008's San Diego ComicCon. https://live.staticflickr.com/7227/7171987875_b42781cbc4.jpg Bat vehicles set by ...

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

As I suspected, the McFarlane Toys Batman Robot scales well with the Mezco and Funko figures:

The latest wave of 6" McFarlane Toys action figures in the "Batman '66" line include Lord Death Man, Robot Batman and Superman from the tie-in comics. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/53315851463_60cabae1bf.jpg New McFarlane Batman 66 action figures by Ian McLean , on Flickr https:...

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

Eaglemoss Batgirl cycle may fit these figures. Who has one to try out? Nah. That is my photo. Funko Batgirl (3.75") is almost the correct scale for the Eaglemoss Batgirl cycle. https://live.staticflickr.com/4324/36149181871_cf7e108bd7.jpg Funko Terrific Trio by Ian McLean , on Flickr Mattel an...

Re: SCRIPT: "The Sandman Cometh", first draft

I love the addition of Catwoman to this story though, one of my favorites actually as filmed with some interesting touches, particularly the police having an undercover agent in her gang (a first and last in teh series) as well as the whole return to a more menacing and playful Catwoman and the sen...

Re: SCRIPT: "The Sandman Cometh", first draft

The Sandman really intrigued me as a kid, and the sudden and unexpected arrival of Catwoman. I knew Michael Rennie from many repeats of "Lost in Space", as the Keeper, and from his masterful turn in "The Day the Earth Stood Still". The episodes had some jokes that went way over m...
