Re: NEW 2019 HALLMARK BATMAN ORNAMENTS!!!

Hallmark lists a dimension on the boat, from the stern bottom to the top of the fin
as being 1.72". I took the same measurement off the round 2 1/25 Batboat. That came
out to 2.44". If both measurements are true, then the scale of the ornament should be 1/35.5.

Hope that helps

Re: Batmobile and Figures

1:18 is the stated scale. Compared to the actual car the HW scales out at 1/19.5.
Not sure if there are any 66 batman figures out there that size. So if you are crafty, 1/20 will work as a base.

Re: 1/12 Batman and Robin models for Batcycle

szabol: I think your thinking of David. I believe his board name was "Hannibal ?" Anyway Rob or "Bluesy helper" primarily work in wax and comes up with some, really nice stuff. You can view some on the clubhouse forum. I can also attest to the quality. With him you get what you pay for. To top it of...

Re: 1/12 Batman and Robin models for Batcycle

These figures are done by the guy that did the 1/32 ideal set that scooter was selling.
The detail on those was amazing.

Re: Model Advice

To add to some of the other great ideas, is to not cheap out when it comes to paint brushes. Nothing worse than doing all that sanding, feathering and detailing then when touching up or fine paint detailing, to not get the paint control you need. Good brushes are no guarantee mind you, but they cert...

Re: Now Heroclix didn't disapoint

Man those figures are looking great. Nice thing is you can get a whole set for about the price of a single in the larger ones. Gonna look great around my Eaglemoss 66 batmobile, which should be the right scale. As to the paint stripper. I have good news and bad news..... The good news is the name of...

Re: Now Heroclix didn't disapoint

Sorry John, I didn't think anyone was interested. I'll try to remember to jot down the name and post here. Won't be until tomorrow tho. I was told they'd be available in September, what day is pretty much when they arrive. Krylon makes a good paint to prime these. Its part of their fusion line calle...

Re: Now Heroclix didn't disapoint

With heroclix figures, I've found that the paint jobs are shaky at best. If you can get the paint off, the figure underneath is usually very good. Like many others I will be re-painting most if not all of them. I have come across a gel paint stripper that will take their paint off and appears to not...

Re: Now Heroclix didn't disapoint

According to the guy at the gaming store, I pre-ordered this set from, the Batmobile is the only one, not part the set I ordered. Heroclix do sets, blister packs and marque itempackaging. So from what I can gather, the car will be separate. B&R climbing the wall should be the marque item, then the f...

Re: Now Heroclix didn't disapoint

They are probably closer to 1/48 like the majority of the Heroclix line. So they would look great
beside a 1/50 Batmobile.
