Re: Million dollar Debut of Batgirl outfit

Come to think of it, I haven't seen GVM on this board for quite a while...
Some of Greg's mannequins were offered for sale on Ebay in summer 2017.

Re: Julie Newmar Photo

I think you'll find that's a painting not a photo ;)
I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post a link to a commercial site but the artist is one John Springfield. There are at least three other paintings of Julie by him.

Ditto, whatever pics you post I think 'hands on hips' is Yvonne's 'signature' pose.

Re: Attention FALSE FACE fans!

To be fair, they were absolutely terrifying. Clowns are scary enough but as a kid i found False Face far creepier than The Joker.

Re: Odd looking Bat Tie...HOLY WINDSOR KNOT, BATMAN!

A minor point but in the sixties (or at least in the UK) only men of considerable social standing would wear a full-Windsor knot. The average white-collar worker tied a half-Windsor and schoolboys used a four-in-hand.

Nowadays to see even a half-Windsor is a rarity.

Re: Original Batman set design painting -auction

Does anyone know, are these paintings online anywhere? I'm sure I remember seeing one of the villains using the periscope in the sub but I can't find it again.

Re: Deanna Lund RIP

Sorry to hear of her passing, I loved watching LotG before Sunday lunch as a kid. In the UK it was always either that or 'Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea', happy days.

The bat-cuffs are a nice touch! I am so going to add that detail to my Julie :)

If I'm not mistaken it's a 'chop of this shot from 'The Purr-fect Crime'.

Oh wow, that brings the memories flooding back!
As an aside, I've not heard of Monica Rose (from Clapham Junction) for decades.
