Re: Batman Was A Cowboy

That's interesting info about the Wild West set - those older non-sport cards are tough to find! Congrats on getting this card in such great shape.

By the way, I think you have your serial plots mixed up - Dr. Daka was in the first serial, not the one with Robert Lowery.

I found the original thread to compare - that is a big improvement!

Re: Batman: Mask of the Phantasm returns to theaters

I too saw the movie when it first came out, with an almost empty theater. We did go see the movie tonight - and the attendance hasn't improved in 25 years - 8 people total, including my wife and me. The film looked great, but quite frankly I didn't remember a thing about the movie. Sometimes memory ...

Re: The 'Floppy Show' with Adam West

A friend sent me this link, and I thought it would be fun to find the old post on our Bat Board and bring it back, seeing as how November 5 is the anniversary of this broadcast - 41 years ago. The original link no longer works, so here is an updated link for those who never saw it the first time aro...

Re: 1973 Saturday morning poll, pt. 1

As the Saturday morning poll has ended, it looks like Bugs and Lidsville were in an almost tie at 8am and Sigmund and the Brady Kids close to a tie at 11am. No surprise that Super Friends was the highest vote getter, but the animated Star Trek was right up there as well! Two great Saturday morning s...

1973 Saturday morning poll, pt. 2

Here is part 2 of the Saturday morning poll.

Please select one from the 10am slot; one from the 10:30am slot; and one from the 11am slot.

1973 Saturday morning poll, pt. 1

I was thinking - we haven't had a poll in ages! And finding an old 1973 TV Guide got me thinking "what would I have watched in the fall on Saturday morning?" And I'd love to hear what others think. So here are your choices. Please select one from the 8am slot; one from the 8:30am slot; and one from ...

Re: Aging superheroes in costume

This is an interesting topic, but did you realize the Superman meets Lucy episode came during the run of the original "Adventures of Superman"? So not an aging superhero at this point,

Re: George Barris Garage Sale

Thank you for posting that video - I finally took the time to watch it. I'm surprised how many "later" Batman toys were for sale, many that still had price tags on them from other stores... I guess I thought there would be more items specifically related to Barris and their creations. I'm not sure w...

Re: "Where have you been, Scott?" A Video Message to the Board

Hey Scott! OK - so I watched the video...it wasn't that long, LOL. I sort of felt like we were chatting on the phone - in fact, on occasion I was saying "yeah, I know what you mean' - don't know if you heard me or not... Thanks for sharing your thoughts - you did so in a calm and reassuring manner -...

Hey, John - did you realize this post from the Bat Blog is almost 4 years old?

Speaking of which - does anyone know what happened to this blog or Tom?
I think he was a member of this board - I sure miss that blog.
The last "new" post was almost 2 years ago..

Re: Batman Hawaiian Shirt

Thanks, Big Daddy K for the tip off - I found them today! For those looking, they were in the "Big and Tall" section, not the "normal" men's section. But I have to say, these are hardly for someone who truly is big or tall. I got an XXL and it barely fits - and the rest of the sizes were the smaller...
