Re: Where to get a green Chesterfield coat

Out of curiosity, has anyone purchased the CY Productions Green Hornet coat? Attached is a picture of what he offers, but to my eyes the seams are a little puckered, and the overall quality isn't great, especially for what he's charging. On the other hand, finding a coat this style in the correct co...

Re: hornets sting

Update: I made another version of the Sting prop using some 3-D printed parts and different gems for the collar. This is pretty close to the picture of the original prop that I was working from, although it doesn't match the Factory Entertainment replica. No lights or sound effects, but I think it c...

Re: hornets sting

Well, if I end up doing a Green Hornet cosplay, I would love to have a more realistic prop. I ordered a mask, hat, and green overcoat, which together cost about the same as the FE Sting. I am working on version 2, so maybe I can get a little closer. If I had the know-how I would add some green LEDs ...

Re: hornets sting

I just made my first one, and I started with an extendable selfie-stick (available on Ebay for under $20) as the main body. It extends to about 42 inches. I removed the hardware and cut the front and back tips with a hacksaw. The handle I made from a part from a curling iron I found in a thrift stor...

Re: green hornet mask

I think you need to be a little more specific. What do you know how to use? You can make it from EVA foam, warbla, urethane resin from a mold, leather formed and painted green, or any number of other ways. I saw one made from one of those cheap plastic masks you can buy at a craft store and it looke...

Re: anti mesmerizor bat reflector

The Anti-Mesmerizer is available on Etsy. The maker says it is "laser cut acrylic", so that's one way. https://www.etsy.com/listing/464745651/anti-mesmerizing-bat-reflector?ref=shop_home_feat_3 Other than that, I've seen tutorials on YouTube where they cut glass with a Dremel with a diamond bit, so ...

Where to get a green Chesterfield coat

Hi all. I've seen pictures of Scott in his Green Hornet gear, and his costume looks great. I'm trying to find a similar green Chesterfield coat, but haven't had any luck. Does anyone have any suggestions? I did find one in gray, but the one that Scott has is more what I want. I've seen the one that ...

Re: BATMAN ’66 Exhibit Revamped — and Extended Again

I was just in Hollywood and went to the Museum for the second time. I didn't know about the addition of Tut, but it is very impressive. A number of items have been removed from the display, probably due to the fact that they didn't expect it to run this long. It's still worth seeing, but I'm glad I ...

It looks more like him if you add the mask. Not perfect, but better than a generic mannequin.

Re: Best Bat Mannequins

Hi. I did some searching for mannequins that are the appropriate size, and came across a sculptor (Marc Spess) that created likenesses of Yvonne Craig, Burt Ward, Lee Meriwether, Julie Newmar, Cesar Romero, Frank Gorshin, and others. The painting was done by another artist (David Costa of Dash N Daz...
