Re: Bat Tights

I have little use for the notion of the jackets or trousers of BatCostumes being tinted, shaded, or toned with any infusion of blue, red, or any combination of the two. One of the details of the BatCostumes that has to be considered is that, in the DC Comics, the jacket and trousers are supposed to...

Re: Black Leather The Bat Cowl! What might have been!

Nice going! But would it cost extra to make the ears taller than shown?

That would probably be what I would seek had I the funds--a Bat-Hood in black leather, with taller ears than those shown here and none of the markings that were on the hoods that West wore on the series.

Re: Duran boots

For myself, I would seek the boots in black. Batman is really supposed to frighten his enemies.

Re: Interest in printed fabric 4 Riddler suit or suit itself?

A friend of mine has a shop at Spoonflower; maybe you could buy the fabric from there. He OFFERS what he calls “Riddler weave.”

Here is where he keeps his shop.

You think that would work?

Re: Duran boots

Duran, has been a long established company as Scott said. If I had the money, I would get their bat boots in a second! If you want the original, that is where you go. Unfortunately, for me, I couldn't afford to do that, so I made my own per the Scott Bayles tutorial on you tube. It worked for me, b...

Re: Chief O'Hara costume

As shown in at least one bat-tale when he removed his blouse coat, O’Hara wore a regular shirt with his uniform, not the police shirts that are usually required under police department uniform regulations, with permanently stitched-in creases front and back, shoulder epaulets, and two bevel-flapped...

Re: Cesar Romero Joker costume

I did this two years ago. To be accurate I had the idea and wore the costume, I in no way have the talent to pull off the costume that resulted. A friend who is an accomplished costumer for a community theater did all the heavy lifting. We started with screenshots of Cesar (my costumer actually wat...

Re: collecting Batman 1966 merchandise

I guess I would divide it into vintage and new, then actual TV related or 60's era. I see you have a mix of Vintage and Modern. The Batman Volumes 1-3 are 60's era reprints of 50's or earlier comics. I sold mine because they weren't show related. The 3 Villains of Doom are essentially a Movie adapt...

Adam West himself (RIP) corroborated this to Jeff Rovin when he told Rovin his own story, published as Back To The Batcave.

Not the best references in personal judgment.
They should be called "The Bat-Duo," and with Batgirl joining them from time to time, "The Bat-Trio."
