Re: To the Bat Poles with an Instant Costume Change Lever
No lift platforms on the bottom of the poles. Sorry to nitpick And the Instant Costume Change lever would be half way down the shaft... When designing a scene for a comicon , imagery is #1. Photo op for the public would prohibit lifts. People would be falling off or unable to climb up. I always des...

That is some amazing work right there... And thanks for those WIP pics, very impressive to see how this was built. Can I ask what the dimensions are? For those of us that might try this too one day... I am getting ready to build more and will try to update the thread with some dimensions. I estimat...

Re: Bat Computer on display at Terrificon Connecticut
Awesome work! What are the strips used on the seams? Aluminum flat stock? Are they glued on? What did you use for the metal parts on the shelf? All wood construction with a metal style paint. The shelves are stainless steel sheets glued onto MDF. I am looking at having the trim done in metal but I ...

Re: Bat Computer on display at Terrificon Connecticut
Just some build photos and a few links to parts. Did everything in 120V so no need for transformers, Used a Raspberry PI to loop the video clips. 120V lights https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01M6WULBK/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 switches https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00ZWW...

Re: Bat Computer on display at Terrificon Connecticut
Bat Signal was mine also . I will start on new thread on that build. It was harder and easier at the same time since there are no full pictures of the 66 Bat signal. I think it was a Mole Richardson film spot light ? Here is a nice close-up up the IBM punch cards used with our Bat Computer display. ...

Re: Bat Computer on display at Terrificon Connecticut
Also took some IBM punch cards and printed the 66 Batman logo on the front with riddles from the show on the back. A nice give away for the kids to take home.

Bat Computer on display at Terrificon Connecticut
The Bat computer display was a great hit for young and old last weekend in Connecticut. It was also on stage with Burt Ward and Lee Meriwether during the Q and A. Bat phone also plays random calls from Batman and Commissioner Gorden when picked up ! I may post some build photos if people are interes...

Replica build of the 1966 Bat Signal
I am building a Bat Signal from a 1942 GE WWll search light ( 1989 movie) but had a request to do one for an upcoming show that would match the 1966 Bat Signal. Problem is that I am having trouble matching which light they used in the show. It looks like a 36" Mole-Richardson style stage (movie...
