Re: Will Burt's Appearance on Crisis on Infinite Earths Set a Record?

Well, Burt's role played out exactly how I thought it would - a cameo with him shouting a "holy!" Nice to see him, but a missed opportunity. I understand they have to dedicate the majority of the show to the current characters, but I was hopeful he'd make it into at least 2 or 3 scenes, po...

Re: Will Burt's Appearance on Crisis on Infinite Earths Set a Record?

Interesting. Good info. Dang, Burt, you had to go and do Legends! ;) I suppose if we were to frame it differently - timespan from first appearance to most recent, the numbers would again skew in Burt's favor. 1966 - 2019 = 53 years. That one's pretty hard to top, though Nimoy would come close. If yo...

Will Burt's Appearance on Crisis on Infinite Earths Set a Record?

Longest amount of time between a character's last appearance and most recent? Assuming he is playing Dick Grayson (and, come on, he's got to!), it would be 51 years since he last played the role in live action! Unless you count Legends of the Superheroes, which would make it 40 years. I think this i...

Re: Burt Ward to appear in CW's "Crisis on Infinte Earths"

According to this site, Ward will be playing Robin, and they will acknowledge that Batman has passed. :o Lynda Carter is also playing Wonder Woman! It makes sense if true; all these tv shows are "canon", just on different Earths. But the part about Burt has me very excited. It could be our...

Re: Funko!!! 4 inch figs!!!!

It does appear that Funko's moved on. It is kind of neat, though, that you can snag a figure of what Dick Grayson became in the 70s. ;)

Figures Toy Company Batcycle

Quick question - do the wheels move? I'd like to get my nephew one for XMas to go with his Batman '66 8" figures. I would think the wheels do move, as they did on the MEGO original, but I paused when I saw it described as a "play set."

Re: TO THE BATPOLES podcast #74: "Batman vs. Two-Face"

No pleasing some people, I suppose. Anyone who sought a new Batman ‘66 episode with no change in presentation or tone from the TV series seems to be missing the point. It’s 50 years later and Bill Dozier & Lorenzo Semple Jr. are dead. It’s a new century, a new creative team, a new medium. I’m th...

Re: SPOILERS: Batman vs Two Face - Discussion thread

Star Trek is my other favorite show, so this was great because it had 3 Star Trek The Original Series actors! Not just Shatner, but Julie (“Eleen” in Friday’s Child) and Lee (“Losira” in That Which Survives). Amazing to have all these actors back after 50 years! And while I admit I thought there’d b...

Re: Matty Collector Cowl

Thanks, everyone. I'm still looking for one. These are surprisingly hard to find (for under $250, the Amazon price). If anyone else has any leads or an extra one they wouldn't mind unloading, please pm me.

Re: King Tut season 3 episodes

Yeah, the KT episodes of which I spoke also had the same writer & director; they were definitely meant to be a 2-parter at one time. I figured some expert here would know the reason, but considering these eps and the Egghead/Olga story, they must've decided at some point during production of sea...

King Tut season 3 episodes

I'm sure this has been covered before and I apologize for being late on it, but can anyone tell me why King Tut's appearances in season 3 (episode 100 The Unkindest Tut of All & episode 117 I'll Be a Mummy's Uncle) appear to be a 2-parter that was split into two standalone episodes? I enjoyed th...

Re: Batman vs Two-Face Trailer

Mr. Shatner can be notoriously indifferent to voiceover work – his dialogue for Star Trek The Animated Series was literally phoned in, and if you’ve heard him in a video game, his evident boredom can be laughable. His interest level seems to rise according to the scope of the project & the pay, ...
