Re: Meanwhile, outside Gotham City Police Headquarters…

I love how all the DC shows shot on the Warner lot (Batman, Lois & Clark, Wonder Woman, etc.) use a bunch of the same locations. Not only is it cool to spot them, but it also gives the impression that they all take place the same "universe", which is really fun.

Re: Burbank 2006 Gathering - 15 Years Ago

This was really neat to watch. I was born the weekend of the show (January 27th, 2006), and it's really nice to know that such an impressive gathering of both fans and stars was happening around the same time I was brought into the world. Fitting, I suppose, since the first show I have concrete memo...

Re: Batman: Caped Crusader first look photos

Going back to Miss Stanwyck, she would have made an absolutely wicked Selina Kyle back in the day. https://images4.fanpop.com/image/photos/16600000/Barbara-Stanwyck-in-The-Lady-Eve-barbara-stanwyck-16690642-1067-800.jpg https://cdn-images-1.medium.com/v2/resize:fit:2000/1*tlVBtERiN-mdh8W4Ix...

Re: Batman: Caped Crusader first look photos

I will say I do think Paul Dini played a much bigger role in the success of BTAS than most people give him credit for. I mean, just look at some of the stuff Bruce Timm's done on his own without Dini's input, like the Batman & Harley Quinn or The Killing Joke animated movies. Talk about yikes...

Re: Batman in concert 35th Anniversary

I love events like this. It's so beautiful to see people from all walks of life come together to celebrate something they love. So sad I was out of town when this came near me. I bet that score sounded amazing being played right in front of you!

Re: Batman: Caped Crusader first look photos

I'm actually really excited for this! I love Old Hollywood-era film noir, and it looks like this show is taking more than a few pages from that playbook. It's also interesting to note that apparently this show's characterization of Catwoman is going to be based on Barbara Stanwyck's character in The...

I think it looks really good! I especially love the return to the classic more saturated coloring. Plus, if you peak you can see that he's even got the red undies! The logo is better than the Cavill one as well.

Re: Flash movie cuts Joker and Penguin

Maybe it was a combination of the writing, his acting and the latest SFX, but I enjoyed Keaton’s Batman performance so much more than in the other 2 movies. Ben Affleck also was very good in his scenes too. I thought his performance was amazing as well, and I particularly love that Keaten really em...

Re: Spoiler free review of The Flash. Run to go see it!

I absolutely agree! I thought it was really a nice change of pace from some of the mediocre fare that DC has been releasing as of late. It had so much heart, something that recent DC movies have been sorely lacking. Although I will say, some of the humor didn't land for me, and I still didn't enjoy ...

Stafford Repp in Strange Lady In Town

The other night I was watching the 1955 western Strange Lady In Town...and boy was I surprised when none other than Gotham's own Chief O'Hara showed up! It was neat to see him in something other than Batman, even if it was just a bit part (but then again maybe even calling it a bit part would be too...

Re: McFarlane bringing back DC Superpowers line

I came across these the other day - really neat! But I do wish that they would have went with a more 'classic' look for Batman (yellow oval, etc.) to more fit the Super Powers aesthetic, especially with such a classic looking Superman.

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

I initially brushed off this line - figuring it would last two waves (maximum) and only give us all the main ‘staples’ that Mattel/Funko had already brought out. But now, scrolling through this thread, it looks like Mcfarlane’s done a bang up job with the license! I think I’m gonna have to go out an...
