Re: Batman: Caped Crusader first look photos
I'm excited about this, have been since the get go on this project which seems like a looooong time ago now. I adore BTAS, it's my "other" Batman, for sure. I'm remaining optimisitic that Timm's more recent track record is not going to similarly define the shape of this show. Very intruig...

Re: Official new Superman costume photo
The official new Superman costume. It relates to Batman as it gives an idea of James Gunn's direction with costumes. To me the costume looks like it's a low budget CW costume and I wish it had brighter colors especially for the S than just muted colors. I'm hearing the "low budget CW costume&q...

Re: Catwoman pistol question
Before the construction of a prop replica, I guess one must ask himself if he's trying to replicate a 50+ year old item as it appears today (i.e. aged and/or damaged), or is the goal to make it appear as the TV production wanted to sell to TV audiences? Personally, I feel the latter would be the goa...

Re: Podcast Topics
How about researching / exploring the print (celebrity magazines, news and trade papers) or TV media coverage of The Green Hornet, i.e. cast and crew interviews to get a real, of-the-period sense of how the series was promoted, and what the cast thought about working in the Dozierverse?

Re: The Green Hornet Case Files Ep. 2!!
Fascinating interview overall. I do disagree with Martin Grams about what makes a superhero is superpowers, when Batman, Robin, Green Arrow, Hawkeye, Black Widow, and so many other characters do not have superpowers, but are considered superheroes. Although I despised Rogen having any involvement wi...

Re: Wil Shriner
Either way, it's interesting to me that this reunion took place more than a year before the release of the 1989 Batman movie. I know the hype for the Burton flick began well in advance but in my (evidently flawed) memory, most of the renewed interest in the 1966 series followed the film's premiere ...

Re: Diecast (Hot Wheels, Corgi, Matchbox, etc.) appreciation thread
I suppose, eventually, they'll start scraping the bottom of the barrel.... Alfred's bicycle, 40's, 50's and '66 versions, and a '66 exclusive with Alfred figure, one is masked, one is not so you have to buy both!! Gangster's getaway vehicles from assorted panels in 40's comics... Blue van that got ...

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?
Shameless money grab. Why would anyone need a black light '66 Joker? I understood the realm of comic book art and other imagery given the black light treatment (e.g., Marvel's black light superhero posters and puzzles of the early 70s), as it fit into the wheelhouse of alternate takes on illustratio...

Nice sculpt--although David Wayne's face was fuller than the sample in the photo I think my biggest concern are the sculpts for the bodies as each actor had a distinctive form. In other words, i'm hoping Mars does not use generic bodies that happen to fit the general appearance.

How much of a demand is there for a 1/6 scale Batgirl cycle?

rsaffle , once again, you are producing amazing work, no matter the scale!
If only you would tackle a 1:6 scale Wayne study table (only) with Shakespeare bust, Batphone, and a sort of "isolated" sliding bookshelf....

Re: NECA TMNT Lab Diorama - could be converted to Batgirl’s hidden change room?
Interesting find. The bricks on the TMNT playset are larger tham those on the Gordon wall, but it looks like the kind of changes you would find in a toy version. Same with the circular exit.
