Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?
Shameless money grab. Why would anyone need a black light '66 Joker? I understood the realm of comic book art and other imagery given the black light treatment (e.g., Marvel's black light superhero posters and puzzles of the early 70s), as it fit into the wheelhouse of alternate takes on illustratio...

Will Mars get Napier's stature correct with the body they create?

Nice sculpt--although David Wayne's face was fuller than the sample in the photo I think my biggest concern are the sculpts for the bodies as each actor had a distinctive form. In other words, i'm hoping Mars does not use generic bodies that happen to fit the general appearance.

How much of a demand is there for a 1/6 scale Batgirl cycle?

rsaffle , once again, you are producing amazing work, no matter the scale!
If only you would tackle a 1:6 scale Wayne study table (only) with Shakespeare bust, Batphone, and a sort of "isolated" sliding bookshelf....

Re: NECA TMNT Lab Diorama - could be converted to Batgirl’s hidden change room?
Interesting find. The bricks on the TMNT playset are larger tham those on the Gordon wall, but it looks like the kind of changes you would find in a toy version. Same with the circular exit.

Re: McFarlane 7” 1939 Batman
It looks robotic--like a Lego Batman, and the ears are just plain incorrect. I believe DC Direct's Detective Comics #27 Batman (from the company's First Appearance wave 1 from 2004) captured the character perfectly for the 6 -7 inch scale: https://www.joeacevedo.com/images/figurezone/dcdfigures/dcdb...

Re: 66 Hornet playing cards backer art recreation
I have a couple sets of the Hornet playing cards from 66 like several of you probably do. I had never seen the original packaging until this week. Apparently it is pretty rare and I only found 2 images online. One in an article about the cards and a better image from a recent auction. I love the pa...

Immensely creative work, although I cannot see GH naming his boat "Black Dreamboat" in-universe!

Hi All, I'm working on a Burt Ward bust to go with the Adam West bust. Still a long way to go but it's getting there. It feels good to be pushing clay! This hair is just place keeping for a wig so I can get the right skull shape. I'm thinking of also making it available with sculpted hair for those...

but what's the point really? Just because something has a Batman logo on the package it's collectible? I buy what I like not buy everything and anything that says the word Batman on it or I'd be broke. I have to draw a line somewhere right? True. It begs the question: "am I really into this an...

Re: Green Hornet figure from Coin-op kiddie ride
Thanks for sharing the photos. Not every TV series would get the kiddie-car treatment, and it seems to be undeniable that the wealth of licensed GH merchandise produced saturated in so many categories just in 1966 is an indicator of how Dozier intended the series to be a major hit. I cannot be certa...

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?
Maybe Saturn/Mars Toys will go deeper with their 1/12 line, but I doubt it. 1/12 line--or did you mean 1:6 scale. If its the latter, I seriously doubt any company would go deep with characters few are aware of, and as a result, would not be profitable. Only major licenses for IPs like Star Wars and...
