Re: Episode Production Order
Really enjoyed listening to this and looking through those call sheets! I could be wrong but I'm guessing Ben could confirm as from the UK - which is when Batman was broadcasted in the early/mid 00's (I think it was) on the cable channel FX (now Fox) they aired the second season in some random orde...

Re: Episode Production Order
Ben and Scott - brilliant video. A very interesting watch. It's exactly the kind of stuff i wanted to know. Whilst watching them in production order, I've been thinking whilst watching a particular scene, that at the same time, shooting with another guest villain would be going on not too far away. ...

Re: Episode Production Order
Thanks dell i never thought of it like that. I assumed they shown the first Joker arc before Zelda as Joker was a more well known villain, especially as the show had just started. I know they filmed the Penguin's Nest episodes before any others of season 2, opting to air these episodes much further ...

Episode Production Order
Hi All, I'm currently having a whole series watch, and have decided to watch the episodes in production order this time. Does anyone know why the production order of the episodes differs so much from the airdate order? Why show King Tut's Coup/Batman's Waterloo before the Black Widow episodes for ex...

Best and Worst Joker Episodes of the Series
Hi guys, Not logged on here for a while. However, with the lockdown continuing here in the UK, I have recently turned to my old friend, the Batman TV series DVD box set, to cheer me up! :D After not watching for probably a couple of years now, i'm loving it all over again! So i thought i'd get a new...

Re: Third Season Queries and What Ifs
LittleLouisGroovy, that's one of the queries I was going to mention. It's always interested me, even as a kid, why they went for a Julie Newmar lookalike as opposed to Eartha Kitt, when Kitt had played the character just 7 episodes before. I'm guessing it was easier for them to get someone who looke...

Re: Third Season Queries and What Ifs
That's interesting that it looked as though Preminger was going to resume the role in season 3. I agree with AndyFish that the character was a more expensive villain in terms of the make-up, costume and overall set design. Maybe Dozier took this into account and they didn't think it worth it, especi...

Third Season Queries and What Ifs
Hi guys, So, Season 3 is probably my best season (I know that's the complete opposite to a lot of people :D) It's the first season I watched when I was a young kid, and I think my first introduction to Batman as a character, so naturally I have more of a soft spot for these episodes. Few things abou...

Re: Batman TV Series on UK TV 1990s
So, I contacted Channel 4 and got this response; 'We have checked our schedules and have found that the first episode of the Batman series was broadcast on the 16th of August 1993. There were 120 episodes and the final episode was broadcast on the 22nd of August 1995' Looks like my memories served m...

Re: Batman TV Series on UK TV 1990s
Yep that’s the one!!! That advert was awesome. Got me proper excited haha. They shown the first season like 3 times. They didn’t actually get to the third season until about the October as I remember. But that was a great time. I remember those timelife adverts vividly. With the black and white clip...

Re: Batman TV Series on UK TV 1990s
I was doing my digging too. It's odd that there's no past listings for those channels anywhere. Got excited when I came across the Genome Project, then realised it was only BBC. Think I might send Channel 4 an email, see if they can give me some dates for when the syndication run ended. See if my me...

Re: Batman TV Series on UK TV 1990s
That'd be interesting to find that out. Any info you may have on the dates the third season aired on channel 4 would be great. I'm guessing summer 1995 or there about. I was watching weekday mornings, so must have been on summer holiday from school. Also, did Channel 4 just air the series once, or a...

Re: Batman TV Series on UK TV 1990s
Hey Ben, thanks so much for these. This is the sort of stuff I've been searching for. So it was Channel 4. I knew it had to be one of the analogue channels as we only had analogue at that time, so channels 1-5. I don't remember them airing in the evenings. But then again I would have only been 3 at ...
