Re: Aurora Batman model question

The comic scenes, which I think of as the second issue (1973/74) doesn't have the BATMAN script on the tree. I thought the Batman tree script was limited to the 1960's. Also, the Owl was only a 1960's release. If they did 2 releases in the 1960's then this may be a second release minus the owl and t...

Re: Aurora Batman model question

So I searched the internets ;) and could not find a single instance/photo of black shorts, unless the cape and cowl were black. In fact, every image seems to have the shorts, cowl, cape and gloves with matching colors.

Re: Classic Plastick Marx Batman Adam (Johnny) West

What year PPK? I have a Hungarian knockoff FEG MkII Plays the 007 them on superfast violins (you need to be Hungarian to get it - Alex will know). There's an old thread on the old website where Wes sold me some parts and I built a Batman with his guidance. Anthony Durso made the display box for me! ...

Re: Batman Stuff You'd Never Part With...

If we limit it to the 1960's AND stuff I had: 1. Corgi Batmobile and Aurora Batmobile (Christmas 1966 and Easter 1967, respectively) 2. Corgi Aston Martin DB5 (Gold) (Christmas 1965?) 3. Tonka Pickup #02 Bronze (Christmas 1962) 4. GI Joe Special Forces Talking Soldier (Christmas 1968) (this set was ...

Re: Aurora Batman model question

No, but I did put the page in question at the top of the page. I may redo my 1974 comic scenes version in black with blue highlights.

Chuck , I love that little bust. When I finally retire, I want to build these models again.

Re: Aurora Batman model question

And the instructions say blue also. Also in the drawing, the edges of the shorts show a blue color, like Lois and Clark’s hair. Again, no wonder there was so much confusion

Aurora Batman model question

So many of us have built a variant of the Aurora Batman model, whether it was a 1964, 1974 Comic Scenes or Revell or Polar Lights iterations My question are these: What color did you paint the shorts and how old were you when you built/painted it the first time? Same dark blue as the cape/cowl/boots...

Re: Ultimate cowls!

The eBay seller said it was for the Batmobile phone, but that Bell jar design would make a cool bust.cowl display. 10” high and 23” circumference will fit the mini bust nicely!

Does anyone know the height of the Adam West bust with the cowl in place? Is it greater than 10” tall?

Dark Shadows books now audiobooks

There are over 30 Dark Shadows paperback books written by Marilyn Ross back during the heyday of the show. A number are now audiobooks available via subscription, or as audio CDs, and the rest are in the works. Katharine Leigh Scott is the narrator. She was the original governess on the show. If you...
