Re: TO THE BATPOLES #195 SCRIPT: “A Piece of the Action”

I don't have the movie close at hand, but am I wrong in remembering that Aunt Harriet has a second appearance in the movie, near the end while Batman is preparing to rehydrate the representatives? She may not have a line but I was sure she and Alfred are shown watching TV.

Loving the episode, but I think there's a problem with it. Around 1:04:20 the Bat-inbox segment starts playing over the interview.

Re: TO THE BATPOLES #185: Zelda without Shame

Just wanted to say I really enjoy the episodes where you cover the Batman 66 comic, I hope it will be a semi-regular feature! It seems like Egbert has escalated from accepting petty bribes to assault, identity theft, and burglary after his stint in the Wayne Foundation Halfway House. Just another ex...

Re: TO THE BATPOLES #166: "Batman and Robin": Hot and "Kalt"

Listening to this episode brought back a repressed memory of mine - a friend and I were walking past the Toronto Planet Hollywood just before this movie came out, and we saw they were having their grand opening that day so we went in. We were told that Arnold would be making a special appearance so ...

Re: Lego Batman '66 Cowl

It hurts to say this, but I think I'm passing on this one. It's too chunky, which is OK for the Star Wars helmets but not here. I don't know what's happening around the eyes but I don't like it. I hope they keep doing more Batman 66 Lego sets though, I need a Batgirl minifig!

Re: TO THE BATPOLES #157: Adam West as Catman; False Face; and a Camp Question

Regarding the Batman 66 comic, I have no problem with stories that could never have been made as episodes of the show. I say use the comics medium to its fullest extent, I'm really there for the tone and characters and they mostly get those right in the issues I've read. After getting through Season...

Re: New lego batmobile

There are definitely some differences: the new one has headlights, there are fewer exposed studs on the top surface, 3 fireworks launchers instead of 2, and no label for the emergency bat-turn lever! It looks like the sides are built using tiles instead of bricks, so it should be a pretty different ...

Re: New lego batmobile

Definitely buying this, although I wish they would have added a new villain from the show. Makes sense to include Joker but an extra incentive for those of us who bought the Batcave set would have been great.

Re: Adding more villains to the Lego Batcave

Thanks everyone! It's pretty cool how parts from other themes can be made to work - like the Elsa head and Princess Leia torso for Marsha, and an old J Jonah Jameson head for Clock King. Lots more to come...

Adding more villains to the Lego Batcave

I'm a huge fan of Lego and the classic Batcave set 76052, but obviously it falls short in terms of including every villain and supporting character from the show. So I used bricklink.com to find appropriate pieces to make more minifigs. My current goal is cover every villain who gets named in the op...

Re: TO THE BATPOLES podcast #096: As the “Ffogg” clears, we ask “Where's the Beef?”

I realize this is an old episode but I just found your podcast and I'm catching up. I have to comment on what should have been yet another fireable offense for Gordon - in the Catwoman teaser at the end she steals all the policewomen's new mini uniforms that he was to approve. What is a mini uniform...

I'm catching up on your podcast and only listened to episode 82 last week. Thanks for highlighting the Bat Swings! album, my little guy and I have been playing with our Lego classic Batcave and it's been the perfect background music. Really enjoying the show!
