The sets were originally used for a fan series, then were officially licensed. (See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trek ... prov=sfla1)Jimmy L. 66 wrote: ↑Sat Dec 16, 2023 11:59 pm Are these the actual sets used onscreen, as advertised, or are the 1:1 reproductions?

Re: 13th Hat episode - Batman statue
I basically agree that the statue was probably some kinda generic caped figure dug out of prop storage (e.g. could've been Roman statue), with cowl and belt added for use in Batman episodes. The cowl looks, to my untrained eye, like it might be from the pilot, but I could be wrong. (It seems like we...

Re: 13th Hat episode - Batman statue
FYI, I believe the statue makes a reappearance at the beginning of "Catwoman Goes to College".
(The cape and cowl in that episode appear to be painted to match the costume colors, and the chest logo was added.)

Re: series trivia info needed
A couple more examples of Batman and/or Robin in Wayne Manor: Season 1, Episode 4 "The Penquin's a Jinx" - Batman and Robin hidden in armor in Wayne Manor front hallway. (Although you only saw their masked faces under the armor -- and Batman's cowl looks kinda strange. I'm guessing it was ...

Looks like it's right after the press conference, when they're bringing up the list of super criminals on the wall monitor.

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?
I've always thought a cowl-less Batman figure should wear a bathrobe over his costume, but I guess that's probably too niche even for Batman '66 merchandise.

Re: For those who have cowls (or those who don't)
If Adam West's anecdote from his book "Back to the Batcave" (Chapter 21) is accurate, one of his cowls may have saved him from a serious injury during a publicity tour for the movie: "At one theater, we learned that if we ever stopped we were in trouble: after making our way through a...

I can't decide which Amazon-related news from this week makes me cringe more - the excessive hassle being dished out by Amazon over the Bat-books, or the endless pictures of the embarrassingly-shaped Bezos rocket.

Re: Second Volume of The Subterranean Blue Grotto Guides to BATMAN '66 is LIVE!
I'm not generally prone to impulse purchases, but I can't believe how quickly my fingers went to Amazon and ordered this book. Also was the case for volume 1.
(You could put a box of rocks up for sale and label it volume 3 of this series, and I'd easily fall for it.)

Re: 1989 Batman Batarang released NECA
Big Screen SUITS- for me: 1- West (Of course) 2- Kilmer's panther. totally greed with Ben, so now I have to make a list. 3. Keaton, Batman Returns. so much cleaner than the original. 4. Affleck in BVS. 5- Keaton's original. started the whole rubber suit with body armor thing, and I think the first ...

Not quite the same, but there was also the "BATTERING RAM" mounted on the Batcycle, which Batman uses to break in to King Tut's hideout and rescue Robin, towards the climax of "Batman's Waterloo" in season 2.

Re: VBC - Tuesday 12th January - 55th Anniversary Viewing Party and Discussions
This seems like an appropriate time to quote the Next Week trailer at the end of the final episode of Season 2 ("The Duo Defy"): "Next week, a repeat of the very first Batman broadcast. The show that gave television a big breath of fresh air. If you missed it then, don't miss it next ...

Apparently, all the Bond movies prior to Daniel Craig are currently available for free, with ads, in the U.S., according to the following article: https://movieweb.com/james-bond-movies- ... e-youtube/
