Re: SCRIPT: KING TUT'S COUP, a.k.a. TUT TUT TUT

This might have been one of the first films that presents the stereotypical embittered Vietnam War vet who starts killing, which was still a staple into the early 80's. Maybe, although the movie only shows a picture of the character in uniform; whether he went to Vietnam isn't mentioned in the scri...

Re: SCRIPT: KING TUT'S COUP, a.k.a. TUT TUT TUT

A few minor observations on the Lord Chancellor and Jester characters (Lloyd Haynes and Tim O'Kelly): I never could quite figure out if they were suffering the same malady as King Tut throughout the episode, or if they came to their senses and tried to take advantage of the situation (they were cert...

Re: Where is Gotham City

Also there are a couple episodes where the establishing stock footage of Gotham City isn't New York but Boston! There's another episode where the process footage behind the Batmobile is a neon-lit night shot of West Berlin! https://sexyarmpit.com/category/new-guernsey Uh, yeah, I feel creepy about ...

"Robin" is Johnny Morley from Freeport High School (I assume Freeport, Long Island due to the proximity of the company's NY offices). I looked for him in the '60s Freeport yearbooks on classmates.com but he didn't turn up.

What about one of the pilot's plot points - Riddler's lawsuit against Batman and Robin? Granted it didn't get into court...

Re: Cesar Romero in 3-D!

Watched a few clips on YT and there's some swordplay (and Katy Jurado throwing bottles at the camera!) that should look good in 3-D. First time I've seen Cesar Romero performing in Spanish, too - did he do his own voice for Batman when it was dubbed in Spanish? ETA: After checking Cesar's IMDb page,...

Re "Gotham City Boulevard Offramp": Maybe a reference to "Last Exit to Brooklyn"? Either the book or the Gene Pitney song.

Re: Caprice

The other night I spotted yet another brief Bat-reference in the 1969 Kirk Douglas film The Arrangement . There's a scene where Kirk is looking up at the windows of his mistress Faye Dunaway's apartment and he sees Faye's new boyfriend. It goes into a fantasy sequence where Kirk runs into the buildi...

Re: Dec 8 , Sothebys has a Batmobile up for Auction

Looking at the dashboard, steering wheel and that earlier Y-block V8, I'm pretty sure this was built from a 1957 Lincoln, not a '59. ISTR seeing something like this being built in some car magazine in the '70s or so; at any rate the odd rear proportions make it look familiar. There should be other p...

I could do a very good quality full-page scan of the image for you (and everyone here) if you like, but I'd have to borrow the book.
