Re: Riddle Me This: Why Is Wally Telling Me Where to Go?

SO glad you're having fun with that! We recorded the sessions for it about a month ago and I've had to keep it secret all this time. WHAT A BLAST!

Re: Odd looking Bat Tie...HOLY WINDSOR KNOT, BATMAN!

Thanks! Brilliant!

One the backside of the tie it says it's 100% acetate. Had it been made for TV execs it would have been 100% silk, not cheapo acetate.

Great info!

Odd looking Bat Tie...HOLY WINDSOR KNOT, BATMAN!

Somebody sent me pictures of this tie and is looking for more info about it. Anybody of you detectives know anything about it?

To me, it looks like a specialty item for network execs when the show first came out, but I could be wrong.

Re: Wayne manor Hot line phone

Lou, most likely the sounds were dubbed in during post-production. Live sound-effects during a shot is a risky business. It could end up covering up vital dialogue that the sound mixer would have no control of later. Better to film it dry and add the sounds in later at the level the sound designer c...

Re: Azarian Collection up for auction

Given this info...I feel the Hardeman costumes could easily get over a million. Considering the set that sold here were missing several things (fins on Batman's gloves, a cowl shell, etc.) WOWZA!

2019 Monsterpalooza

What a thrill it was to have some items from the collection on display in the Monsterpalooza museum this year. If you've never been to this con, you MUST check it out. It's becoming really huge! Son Of Monsterpalooza will be in September. The show owner has asked me to participate in moderating pane...

Re: A real DOG of a project...

Thanks Therin! Early Grover always looked green to me on TV and in pictures. Amazing that he looks more brown in person. Early Oscar was also orange!! Funny how they decide to make changes. And Jim, while Rowlf was one of the first Muppets, he wasn't the first. Sam and Friends on local TV in D.C. ha...

A real DOG of a project...

When I was a kid, my folks named my first dog Ralph, after the funny puppet on "The Jimmy Dean Show." (With Jimmy's accent it sounded like he was saying Ralph, when in reality it was Rowlf) Fast forward to third grade and I become aware of some funny puppets on a new show called "Sesame Street." Alt...

Re: 1966 Bruce Wayne Study Decor Props Batpoles

I just saw that ship on an episode of "I Dream of Jeannie" a few nights ago. And Major Nelson and Major Healy wore silver helmets for an anti-gravity test that looked a lot like the Freeze helmets without the visor, and without the quantity of expanding duct around the neck. Funny how a lot of this ...

Re: Burt Ward on the Ellen Show Jan 2nd, 2019

I do some work for the "Ellen" show from time to time, and my contacts over there confirmed that he was there for a taping. So I'm sure Burt's post is true. Enjoy, and Happy New Year!
