Re: Favorite Epilogue
I love the square but totally applicable Theodore Roosevelt quote from one of the Tut episodes: "No man is above the law and no man is below it." Oops-- that's not in the epilogue to that episode. OK then, the one where one of the molls reveals that she's going off to live with her poor bu...

Re: Best molls?
I should've said "into dreamland at the same time," since Robin alone gets gassed or drugged pretty often.

Re: Best molls?
Ditto the high regard for Blaze and for Lady Prudence, even though the latter's not a moll either. I'll champion Joan Staley's Okie Annie, as I believe she does one thing no other moll ever does: knocks out the Dynamic Duo. A few others caught them in traps, but it seems like only Catwoman managed t...

Re: Why a Serious Green Hornet?
I think Logar-2 may have the best take on the matter. It seems to me that I *may* have heard something about Dozier claiming he was a fan of the original concept, but even IF he said that, he may have been making the best of a deal forced on him by Trendle. Anyone in the entertainment biz knows bett...

Re: Question about the Entrancing Dr. Cassandra
I theorize that if the Minerva episode was the last one actually shot, they probably shot all Zsa Zsa's scenes together, including her promo for the last episode. Perhaps the "butt shot" was actually the last one they did, and at the last minute they threw in a "The End" in case ...

Why a Serious Green Hornet?
Has anyone here come across statements or paraphrases of quotes from either Dozier or any associate as to why GREEN HORNET was played "straight" rather than "camp" like BATMAN?

Re: Favorite Chandell Costume
My favorite was the sequined prison outfit, but I'll bet the show had to make that one.

Re: So were any of the 66 villians destined to be awful?
I think the Archer and the Sandman were weak concepts that would have been poor no matter who played them. Shame and Chandell carry a different vibe for me. I didn't like them back in The Day, but now I think they have a satirical edge, with Shame satirizing the ethos of the Western and Chandell the...
