Re: I’m Sorry VICTOR BUONO, I Was Wrong About You

Like most of you I grew up on the big four: Joker, Penquin, The Riddler, and Catwoman. But when I got older Victor Buono had the most amazing depth. He was so good being silly one moment, hilarious the next then equally maniacal also. "Dance you slaves!, music.....Bat music".

Re: A Change In Perspective: King Tut episodes

I feel the same way. When I was young all I seem to focus on was Riddler, Joker, Catwoman, and Penquin. When I got older and I love the campy humor, other characters became so entertaining. Victor was the best. His humor and acting was wonderful. Definitely some of my favorite episodes. How about Li...

Re: Julie's On The Mend.

Wonderful news. I met Julie at a Comic con and we spoke for a bit. She grabbed my forearm and said I was so sweet. What a rush from the hottest and grooviest Catwoman.

Re: LEE MERIWETHER on the Sadness of VICTOR BUONO

Lee Merriweather's favorite Catwoman was Eartha Kitt? To each his own. I guess she was very good but as a boy I thought Julie Newmar was so incredibly beautiful and sexy. She was the grooviest Catwoman in my opinion and no one could replace her. IMO.

Re: The best Adam West tribute I've seen

I guess some people are bigger fans than others however most of us didn't have the kind of access those that knew and worked with him had. I met Adam at a Comic Con in Philadelphia. Me and my son entered the tent, we spoke for a few moments on maybe the pilot Lookwell. Maybe we did a knuckle pound. ...

Re: An appreciation of Batman & Adam West

I totally agree with Batfanman. There are so many things to love about this show but I love how he portrayed the character. I grew up with this Batman and as a kid I watched the 1968 Filmation cartoons. I never could get into the Dark Knight characterization. For me personally, the morality portraye...

Re: Adam has died

Adam Has died....those three words together are very difficult to take. Shocking and traumatic. I know he had a great life and he was 88 but that doesn't make it any easier. I think it is great that he got to see the DVD/Blu-ray finally released. RIP chum.

Re: Adam has died

The world just became a darker place. I am so glad I met him and that me and my son got a picture with him. I am a huge fan of tv/music from the 60"s. The problem is these celebrities are very old and many are passing away. My soon to be ex-wife was ridiculing my grief. She said I was ridiculou...

Re: Will Green Hornet ever come to DVD?

The movie was horrible and a mockery. There is a scene where Kato intentionally hits the Green Hornet between the legs. This was supposed to be humor Once I saw that, I said turn it off, I'm done.

Interesting. Not to take anything away from Earthy Kitt but Julie is well...Julie. Even as a very young child I found her stimulating.

Re: King Tut/Victor Buono: What's your opinion?

"I'll be the son of a Byzantine king!". I agree that as a child I did not appreciate the genius of Buono. As an adult he is hilarious. He was incredible and his episodes are among my favorites. "Dance slaves...music....Bat music.

Re: So were any of the 66 villians destined to be awful?

Barbara Rush-Nora Clavicle--she is beautiful, the episode was hilarious in a ridiculous way but maybe one of the worse villains. Anne Baxter- she is very good but I am okay with Zelda but Olga was annoying. John Astin- great actor in his way but who can follow Frank as the Riddler. If he was giving ...

Re: Was Yvonne the First Female Superhero on Film?

From everything I read she seemed like a wonderful person. I don't know what more to add than what was already posted but I am sad she is no longer with us. I really wish I would have met her.
