Re: ‘66 poster promoting the yet to be released show

My assumption was that these were part of the “Batman is coming” teaser campaign and posted in targeted cities. It might have been a cheaper choice to modify an already commercially available poster than to design a new one. There were a ton of goofy, trendy “Pop Art” comics posters at the time, inc...

‘66 poster promoting the yet to be released show

An auction for a vintage poster promoting the 1966 series just ended on eBay. It’s a modified version of the commercially available one from G & F Posters. I don’t think I’ve ever seen one except in the premiere party photos. Sort of cool, very pricey. One of the earliest pieces of memorabilia relat...

Re: Limited edition of 25 Batman 1966 toy book

How can I order one? I sent an email, but it might not have been a good address. I’d really like a set!

Re: Video Fun

Wow! That’s the first time I’ve seen that Lava commercial.

It’s been mentioned a bunch of times, but had never been able to find it.

Thanks for posting it.

Re: Herocross: 1966 Batmobile!!!

Cool, thanks Andy. It has some of the same appeal to me that the vintage Japanese stuff does. Given the price though, I think I'm going to wait for a dented box deal.... Did you happen to see the re-theme pinball threads I linked to in the '66 batman pinball thread? You could really go to town on so...

Re: Finally played the '66 pinball machine

Batbelfry, I did try it. I played 5 games and started to get the hang of it. It was in non stop play before I got a shot at it and people were hovering around waiting for their turn while I was playing. There's a lot of video and sound stuff incorporated in the game play which was tough to hear as t...

Re: Finally played the '66 pinball machine

I didn't buy one, I meant it showed up at Quarterworld here in Portland on the 6th.

There is an iPhone app called Pinball Map that tells you where different machines are located in your city.

Only one of these machines in my city so far....

Re: ***SPOILERS*** ROTCC Discussion

I would also mention that I loved the Aunt Harriet stuff. It was kind and funny and the actor's voice was as spot on as Wally's Riddler and Gotham Palace's William Dozer imitation.
