I feel badly for Moore in that DC comics cheated him and Dave Gibbons out of ownership of Watchman. Yes, what they did was legal but unethical.

Re: TO THE BATPOLES #146: An Early Batman '66 Fan Film, Revealed!

Thanks for sharing that! In my opinion, it was better than some Season 3 episodes, even some of Season 2!

Impressive editing, fun acting and very clever writing with the narration!

I think you managed a good return to the energy of the first season of the show, working of course without the strict time...

Ha ha! Fine article. I come to this site for the hardcore fan info and expect more casual responses to the show elsewhere.

To anyone who has watched both shows, which one handled the half-hour format better?

Re: Batman Ratings

it was a mistake to build arcs around actors (people in Dozier's rolodex) rather than writing good villain characters and then finding actors to play them. I guess they were lucky to have any good episodes exist at all if that was what going on. True, the audience may have been done with the show l...

Re: The Dumbing Down of Batman

What happened to sticks and stones, etc. Basically, they would ignore Batman and Robin's innate character traits for either a plot point or a dumb punchline once Semple was out of the picture. That's a good poin...

Something about soaking themselves in hot water and epsom salts to counteract the poison. Obviously this isn't something viable in the moment so why would Batman even bring it up? Another moment is when they cover their eyes and enter the ladies changing room in Catwoman's Dressed To Kill. How were ...
