There was myth about an unproduced Stanley Ralph Ross CW script that has never been verified or denied

Re: The Upside To Living In A Target Wasteland

Keith, I still think you're doing better than where I'm at in western North Dakota.

Re: The Upside To Living In A Target Wasteland

Keith, I live in a town of around 30,000, with only a Wall Mart and a Menards in the immediate area. It's two hours to the nearest Target and Barnes and Noble and Best Buy. We're four hours from a Sams Club and I have little access to things, so just how big is the town you're in.

What is this thing you call a "newspaper?"
It's something made of paper. There have been strange discussions about it lately. I don't understand it all.

Still think it should come out on DVD. Really.

Legend has it that a large container of borscht fell onto one of Ross' scripts, rendering it illegible and unsuitable for filming.
How do you know it was borscht?

Re: Script: THE CAT'S TALE, by Stephen Kandel

You know, you could take bits and pieces of "Fashions in Crime," and "A Cats Tail" and make about some pretty decent episodes of the series. Some repetitious odds and ends could be jettisoned.

Guys? Do you know if there was an unpublished Catwoman script by Stanley Ralph Ross?

Re: FIRST LOOK: Rebekah Isaacs’ ARCHIE/BATMAN ’66 #4 Cover

[ why would a happening 'sixties chick' such as Catwoman have the slightest bit of interest in him? That's my question. "A happening sixties chick?" Oh. I haven't heard that saying in years. Maybe a happening sixties chick needed the emotional stability a square headed hero would bring? Just saying...

Re: FIRST LOOK: Rebekah Isaacs’ ARCHIE/BATMAN ’66 #4 Cover

Plus the fact that Catwoman is in full costume, specifically, she is wearing her mask. If she was going straight then why wear the mask to class and then to the malt shoppe? The scenes with Catwoman pretending to go straight make Batman, the warden and the police look like complete fools. But then ...

Re: FIRST LOOK: Rebekah Isaacs’ ARCHIE/BATMAN ’66 #4 Cover

O.K. the Princess of Plunder sharing an ice cream with Batman is somewhat cringe worthy. Why I don't know? Well, first of all, it just looks juvenile. They're supposed to be adults, not teenagers. But sadly, that's how the romantic tension between Catwoman and Batman almost always was treated on th...

Re: FIRST LOOK: Rebekah Isaacs’ ARCHIE/BATMAN ’66 #4 Cover

Without spoiling it, I'll say that while the artwork is nice, the scene it riffs on is one of my most-hated scenes in the entire series. I know first-hand that writing isn't easy because it's how I've made my living, but I too have been disappointed not only with the tone of the '66 comics stories,...

Yes, it's a fictional world, and yes, the characters aren't real, but still - what an embarrassment! It's like Stanley Ralph Ross is running DC.

I like it. I'll grant you it's a bit cringe worthy, but it got my attention.

Re: Batman's upcoming marriage?

I'm discovering tons of great material I missed back when I could only be bothered to read superheroes: Westerns like Doug Wildey's "Rio" and Joe Kubert's "Tex," even Dynamite's recent "Lone Ranger" title, old Marvel "Conan" books which somehow escaped me completely first time around and of which t...
