Re: BAT 77 - One Bullet Too Many (Batman #217)

I think that with the end of the Adam West series in '68, and the sales of the Batman books taking a major hit from the high point of being the #1 selling character in '66 (even over Superman for the first time ever, and that wouldn't happen again until '89, and wouldn't become common until I think,...

Re: TO THE BATPOLES podcast #67: "Ice Spy": Frozen turkey

Wallach is probably my least favorite Freeze, but this scene is worth whatever poor plot and bad accent I have to put up with to see it: Thanks for posting that. One of Adam West's best performances! Hilarious. I don't remember much else from this episode except Glacia in her skating costume, the s...

Re: Adam has died

I hate to bring it up, but what about the Two-Face cartoon with William Shatner?

If it isn't finished (I mean if Adam West didn't get done doing his lines,) then I think that they should shelve the movie, out of respect for Mr. West.

Rest In Peace, Mr. West.

Re: Batman '66 meets Legion of Super-Heroes new comic

Batman did meet the Legion during the Bronze Age: "Brave and the Bold Vol 1 #179," cover dated October, 1981, but first published on July 23, 1981.

Re: 1966 Batman review Spoiler Free. Wingert great.

I just saw it here in the SW US (7:30 PM) show. The only bad thing was that at my viewing, there was Kevin Smith talking about the movie to start, and it was fine, but I wished that they would just get to the movie. And then, to make things worse, the movie skipped the first 6-8 minutes of the movie...

Re: TV’s ‘Batman’ Adam West reaches out to Jacob Hall’s family on social media

I wasn't sure because the situation that happened isn't "G" rated or "PG" rated, but I thought in the spirit of what Adam West did, it should be considered an exception.

I hope that the mods approve this thread, because it shows Adam West is a fine human being.

TV’s ‘Batman’ Adam West reaches out to Jacob Hall’s family on social media

I hope that this is ok, since someone that we all love did something very nice. http://nbc4i.com/2016/10/04/tvs-batman-adam-west-reaches-out-to-jacob-halls-family-on-social-media/ TOWNVILLE, SC (WSPA) The star of the 1960’s television version of Batman reached out on social media to the family of Ja...

Re: Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders in Theatres

Just bought a ticket, and I'll see it with the 7:30 PM show where I live at. This will hopefully wash the stench of the mediocre Batman vs. Superman movie that I saw back in March.

Re: Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders in Theatres

I just found out that the movie will play where I live at, so I'll pick up a ticket for it, probably the middle showing--I have stuff to do during the early show, and I'm at that age now where I want to sleep during the late show.

Re: Anyone here old enough to remember the original run?

I wasn't around when the show was first on, but it has always been a part of my life, until the 1992 Animated Series came on, and then the newer movies. There is a Batman for all generations, since I think that he is the only fictional Comic book character that I think can go from child friendly to ...

Re: Season 3 a breath of fresh air?

As I grew up in the past few decades, I (I won't say which) I found out though I enjoyed Ms. Craig's Batgirl, the season she was in didn't do much for me. And, I'm in agreement with others here. The First Season was the best, because it had it all: satirical humor, a sense of adventure, fun death tr...
