Re: The Latest BRADFORD EXCHANGE Statue just arrived!

Ummm.....

No.

Maybe it's just me, but...too low-quality. Smacks of "cash-grab" from BE.

Re: Kato Backstory?

My personal favorite is the one published by the now-defunct NOW comics series, specifically volume 1. I haven't read it for many years, but that comic series wove in the Lone Ranger backstory, the serials, and the TV show...even drawing Kato to resemble Bruce Lee as closely as possible. This series...

Re: Memories of Batman from years past...

I wrote this almost ten years ago. Much has happened since then...a divorce, a new relationship, deaths and births, moving, and marriage to my wonderful amazing wife. What I wrote back then was a much needed cleansing, and I wasn't sure I should share it. I hope anyone who reads it understands. Than...

Re: Happy Anniversary '66 Green Hornet!

Fascinating character(s). I've always loved the family connection with the Lone Ranger, and wish more media would acknowledge the parallels between LR and GH.

Re: Mego 50th Anniversary-- The Return!

I am approaching 58 years old....I remember the first time I saw Mego Batman was on the school playground. A classmate was using the rotted out area in a railroad tie as a "batcave". I remember thinking how odd the removable mask looked, then realizing I didn't care...it was BATMAN! Christ...

Re: FIBERGLASS FREAKS RAIDED!!

What no one in authority will publicly admit is that Privilege Comes With Money, and is not considered abuse of power by those with money and friends in high places. It may not be the way things should be, but is the way things are.

Re: High C Has Passed Away

Always enjoyed posts from HighC and the interactions that followed, even though I'm pretty quiet most of the time. Really enjoyed the crossover material with the TTB podcast with Tim & Paul as well. Always well-spoken and literate. Yes, he will be missed. I'm glad we have his communication on th...

Re: Not excited AT ALL about upcoming film "The Batman"

Wow! When I felt compelled to start this thread I had no idea the responses would be so varied and passionate...I should have known better, based on the subject at hand. Thanks one and all for all the points of view...regardless of how we all feel about any one movie, we all agree we love Batman. I ...

Re: Henchman Pay

Joker's henchmen apparently get paid very well! In part one of the Zodiac Crimes, Joker instructs Mercury to "just pay the man" $2,450.00!! That's about $21,480 today. Unless, maybe, Mercury is the gang's treasurer... I think we can all agree that most portrayals of the Joker would have th...
