Decades has a Green Hornet Marathon on November 24

Unfortunately, "The Preying Mantis" is not one of them. 8:00PM ETTHE GREEN HORNET - THE SILENT GUN "In this premiere episode, Dave Bannister is shot at a funeral with 20 witnesses present and not a shot was heard, not even from the Green...

Decades has Batman Marathon on November 16 and 17

For those that still like to watch Batman being broadcast, the Decades Channel is running a marathon of the series starting with episode 3 on Saturday, November 16 at noon Eastern and continuing through Monday morning. Caveat emptor for those who prefer blu ray: these are the edited, time-compressed...

Re: Batman Stuff You'd Never Part With...

I guess it is not surprising that the most important items in my collection are from my childhood when that sense of wonder was still in full force. So... 1. The comics: All of the 100 Page Super Spectacular issues of Batman circa 1974-75. They featured a new 20 page story by O'Neil, Novick, and Gio...

Re: Looks Like Shazam! is Coming to Blu-Ray!

Interesting. I wonder if this s just a transfer from the source used for the DVDs. Moreover, the DVD had once-lost "lesson" tags as a special feature, but not added back to their original episodes, so I would be curious to know if they found clean versions of those cut segments. Here is a link to a...

FTC Expands 66 Line With Boxes and...Vehicles?

Figures Toy Company is now offering the 66 line in boxes for 19.99, lower than when they were packaged in the clamshells, which suggests to me that they are sitting on Batman 66 figures. What is more intriguing is the display box that they are offering for the individual character boxes. On the back...

Re: Guide to Green Hornet Book is out

I ordered my copy from Amazon last year and was very pleased with it. The author is very thorough in her research and it is very welcome alongside the other Hornet books on my bookshelf.

Re: Hamilton Collection Batman sculpture

Wow! 140 views, but no comments? Is the Hamilton Collection affiliated with the Bradford Exchange? This piece has the same Photoshopped illustration that accompanies their releases and the results there are often disappointing when compared to the artwork. That said, it is an involved piece that dep...

Re: Jada 1/18 Batmobile

I was convinced I didn't need another 66 Batmobile, but this thing is wearing down my resistance... Somebody please post a scathing review before I spend again! SprangFan, I feel your pain. I already own two Hot Wheels in this scale and keep trying to reel myself in before I end up on a future epis...

Re: Missing Bat-Related Video

I recently bought a copy of the old Batmania fanzine and saw this in the classified ad section. Has anyone ever seen any of these video clips? I seem to recall Adam and Burt on Merv Griffin, but not any of the others. At least we now know that they exist and hopefully will turn up. The Merv Griffin...

Re: Mego line heading to Target stores

I think it is a great gesture of good will that Dr. Mego is willing to provide a replacement head. The second wave of 14 inch figures seems to improve upon the shortcomings of the first wave and I am confident that the Classic Batman of wave three (which I'm guessing will have blue clothing with the...
