Re: Hamilton Collection Batman sculpture

Wow! 140 views, but no comments? Is the Hamilton Collection affiliated with the Bradford Exchange? This piece has the same Photoshopped illustration that accompanies their releases and the results there are often disappointing when compared to the artwork. That said, it is an involved piece that dep...

This video shows the pinstriping in a better light than the one posted earlier in the thread.

Re: Jada 1/18 Batmobile

I was convinced I didn't need another 66 Batmobile, but this thing is wearing down my resistance... Somebody please post a scathing review before I spend again! SprangFan, I feel your pain. I already own two Hot Wheels in this scale and keep trying to reel myself in before I end up on a future epis...

The description on Amazon makes this a better buy for the money: Includes 100% die-cast Batman and Robin figures • Die-cast body and rubber tires • Opening doors, hood and trunk • Light-up headlights, taillights, sirens and thruster • Authentic styling https://www.amazon.com/Comics-Classic-Batmobile...

Re: Missing Bat-Related Video

I recently bought a copy of the old Batmania fanzine and saw this in the classified ad section. Has anyone ever seen any of these video clips? I seem to recall Adam and Burt on Merv Griffin, but not any of the others. At least we now know that they exist and hopefully will turn up. The Merv Griffin...

I know for a couple of Thankgivings my mom would give me the netting from the Butterball turkey to use as Spider-Man's webbing.

You, too?

Re: Mego line heading to Target stores

I think it is a great gesture of good will that Dr. Mego is willing to provide a replacement head. The second wave of 14 inch figures seems to improve upon the shortcomings of the first wave and I am confident that the Classic Batman of wave three (which I'm guessing will have blue clothing with the...

Re: It's the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown soundtrack available

Unfortunately, the master tapes for the special are lost to time, so the CD is taken from the music and effects track of the special, clocking in at around 20 minutes. It is not of the sound quality as, say, the Fantasy Records soundtrack of A Charlie Brown Christmas , but I intend to get it anyway....

Re: Batgirl Question

I'm going from memory, but in "Enter Batgirl, Exit Penguin," Dozier narrates our first view of the Batgirl Cycle asking, "What's this? Another surprise? A Batgirl cycle in a secret freight elevator?"

Re: Batman in the 1970s Podcast - launching Sept. 1st

This is my era of Batman growing up...afternoon reruns of the 66 series, Power Records, 100 page giant comics and tabloid editions. The comics were taking a more serious turn, but the merchandising was well informed by the remnants of the live action series. I look forward to looking back with you!

Re: Drew Struzan poster.....

I appreciate seeing these again. I wanted the Shazam poster back in the day, but couldn't find it in stores, so I settled for Superman. I never knew that head was changed. Incidentally, a small replica of the Spider-Man poster was included as one of the artifacts in the book The Spider-Man Vault by ...

Very interesting find! It is ironic that Jack Benny had not seen the show, but appeared in the newspaper comic strip.

Re: Funko pops

If Funko has the license, I wonder if that keeps the possibility of figures and a Black Beauty open as was teased last year when the Batman line was released?
