Re: BATMAN SEASON FOUR Fantasy Print 13x19 LIMITED EDITION NOW!

Wow this thread resurfaces! I don't remember who I had in mind for Zatanna but there was no shortage of 60s brunettes who would have fit the bill. This was a fun summary to write. The illness in question was the death of my gallbladder, which went kaplooie and they got out at the last possible secon...

Re: When did you first see the show?

70s reruns after school-- a friend's older brother had comic books and he gave them to us-- lo and behold there were a few Batman's in there! Got me hooked on comics, which eventually lead to a career. So the Show started everything for me.

Re: New “faded” cowl

The purple is how I remember the cowl-- and it was a surprise to me to see the actual blue when I first saw a color photo of Adam in costume outside. Purple has always looked "right" to me thanks to my experience with a 1970s era big console TV.

Re: RIP, Carol Lynley.

She was also Kolchak's only girlfriend in the filmed run of the character, appearing in the first TV Movie. Unfortunately all of these stars popular among many here are at the age where an RIP is bound to be posted. Scott and Ben maybe we should create an In Memory Of section so that we can keep the...

Re: FTC Expands 66 Line With Boxes and...Vehicles?

Neat! I got rid of all my figures in a purge last year-- I much prefer the boxes to the cards and I like the display box option too-- still, do I need more stuff that I will just clear out later on??? Are things more important than money?? It's a real cliffhanger!

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?

There was, if I remember correctly, a warehouse find of these in Hong Kong a few years ago, so there are quite a few nice examples out there. Yours looks le...

I believe that was a Columbia handout given to filmgoers in the final weeks of the first Batman serial, The Phantom serial followed it.

Re: Third Season Queries and What Ifs

There are definitely some fun moments in Season Three but I'm in the Season One and done camp. There are more knowledgeable members who I'm sure will chime in here but I'll get the ball rolling; My understanding was that Frank had asked for more money which is why he's replaced in Season Two's Batma...

He wouldn’t be the first big collector to go out~ I think there comes a point where we realize we have too much stuff and we can’t take it with us ;)
