Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

Thanks to a good friend on these boards I have the figures, they are sturdy and look so much better in person! I may have to enter a target to find the car now!

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?

It's been a long time since I've seen them but that Mattel Robin figure is very ugly too. Looks like he needs to eat a steak as my grandfather used to say.

Re: Was Eartha Kitt ever scheduled to play Siren?

Never heard this before but great work on the details-- it makes for an interesting thought, I think Collins would have been a better Catwoman choice and Kitt would be a more logical choice for a musical villain-- although I think they would have been better off if her singing was enchanting rather ...

Re: Playmobil 66 Batman

Why is Scarecrow so tiny or Batman so big? And he seems to have forgotten his shorts.
Plus there should be a sticker shock warning if you click the link-- danger of coffee spitting very high.

Yeah I suspected that but didn’t know if we’d legislated additional days in the year. ;)

BATMAN is Coming.

Hey All This coming year January 12th lines up on a Wednesday which means it coincides with the 1966 Calendar, at least for the first few weeks, I’m not sure it holds all the way through but over on my blog I’ll be doing in-depth (and sometimes brutally honest) critiques of episodes as they would ha...

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

now if Playmobil does a Batmobile with Batman and Robin I'll be all over it, loved Playmobil as a kid and the James Bond Aston Martin they're doing is just too cool. You took the words from my mouth, Andy. I never had Playmobil toys growing up and never purchased any until my forever-in-progress cu...

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

I don't understand the unmasked Batman and Robins but I guess if you consider the screen test you saw them without their masks. These are literally going to have to fall into my cart at Target for me to get them-- which is highly unlikely because I don't like shopping. Just toys-- now if Playmobil d...

Re: McFarlane Toys doing Batman 66 figures?

In my previous life before being a millionaire comic book artist I used to manage a small group of supermarkets with pretty decent sales and about 1500 employees so a hobby for me now is to keep up with retailer insider news; Target changed its model in the past few years eliminating permanent back ...

Re: Ugliest BM shirt ever?

The Batman hoodie would "almost" work if the printed the cowl on the hood. Almost. And now for my "Too Much Time on My Hands" thoughts on the hoodie... Bat hoodie.jpg Nice work, Scott! I still wouldn’t be caught dead wearing it but this is a better design, they missed an opportu...

Chicago! Yes I thought we'd met but I was unsure, I get folks with handles mixed up all the time.
I know that if someone posts a question and I can't add anything to it I'll usually hold a reply since I have nothing to add.
I wouldn't take it personally at all.

Re: Ugliest BM shirt ever?

I’m always glad to see a post from you, Batmite, you always bring good comments. I’m in the camp that thinks these shirts are ugly, but I’m someone who doesn’t even wear T-Shirts with images or writing on them, and I’ve been that way since I was four- my mom still laughs about it, so I’m not the int...

Re: Anyone here know someone from any of the Star Treks?

I once had drinks with William Shatner at a hotel bar, to thank him for getting me to invest in Priceline stock. I waited out a rainstorm in Chicago with Nichelle Nichols in a hotel vestibule at another show, and in New York I pushed Jimmy Doohan in his wheel chair when his handler went to get his c...
