Re: Classic Plastick Marx Batman Adam (Johnny) West

I had Johnny West but don't remember this! Can someone give a backstory on it? Thanks!

That's great! I'd buy one of those in a heartbeat. Ben Cooper is back and making Marvel Costumes now.
I recently heard that Rubies is the successor to the original Ben Cooper company. I wonder if this is really true and if so, are they re-launching the brand (with those Marvel costumes?)

Re: HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Looks great, Batman65! Thanks, Ben - I've been dying to do this one for a few years now. Had a fun time in it and yes, the mask is just as hot as I remembered and even worse in the peripheral vision dept. with the '66 cowl underneath, for which everyone seemed to figure out I was Batman (for some st...

Re: First post - could use utility belt advice

I'd say you've got the label right - looks great! "REPELLENT" seems to be a bit smaller on the actual can but the larger font makes it easier to read from a distance.

Re: First post - could use utility belt advice

WOW! That looks great!! You and your Mother-in-law did a fantastic job. Love the gloves and don't worry about the cape so much - it looks really cool and has a good length to it. Adam wore his all arranged on the shoulders for the most part and you've accomplished that look here. If you are looking ...

Re: First post - could use utility belt advice

Looks great! See if you can find a can of WD40 - it's a reasonable size and the cap (red, unfortunately) is more screen accurate. WD40 also makes a product called WD40 Specialist which is a corrosion inhibitor. It's a larger can but it comes with a yellow cap.

Re: First post - could use utility belt advice

Looking forward to seeing/hearing about your results! One other thing, you can put a piece of Velcro behind the buckle & in the contact area of the trunks to keep the belt stable on your waist.

Re: First post - could use utility belt advice

I don't know what the aerosol can is made out of but it's not magnetic. So strong magnets are out. Perhaps find a metal can & do over? Otherwise, I'd recommend emptying the can and then use Velcro but beware where you've placed it, as it might be a problem when you go to sit. It may hit your thigh ...

Re: First post - could use utility belt advice

If you can get a hold of a neo-dymium magnet (thin rectangle shape) you can attach it to your belt and the Repellent can, if it's metal will do what metal does around magnets!

Re: Things you didn't notice or remember until seeing the DVDs

Watching "Mummy's Uncle" and noticed that the Batmobile, just before Tut bursts through the cave wall is facing inward towards the Batpoles and outward after the breach. Stock footage shot likely for the inward view. Also, same episode; stock footage; don't know if anyone ever noticed that the Batmo...

Re: BATCAVE BLUEPRINTS - Ebay 1966 BATMAN ORIGINAL TV BATCAVE 18"x24" COLOR PRINT

Always wondered about those tunnels - they look so cool but they never did use them in a practical sense - they just were there for show apparently. Then they rock-walled the left tunnel so Tut could break through in the "Mummy's Uncle" episode so to me, that really was a retcon elimination of the "...
