Re: First Look - Battinson Revealed

Nolan's Batman was Agent 007 Darth Batman. Snyder's Batman was Charcoal Briquetteman. So, as I've read many complaints elsewhere online about Pattinson's rather thin build and large head, then I'll go ahead and declare (in my best Bugs Bunny as the king voice) - "I dub thee Pez Dispenser Batman".

First Look - Battinson Revealed

Right up front I'll say I'm not at all interested in this film. I'm sick and tired of Hollywood constantly trying to reinvent the wheel when it comes to Batman and other comic heroes. https://vimeo.com/391277390 I'm out. Another all black, all armored Batman with a cheesy batarang clipped to ...

Robert Conrad Has Passed

Robert Conrad passed today at 84. Almost all of the legends from the classic '60s era of television are gone now. There won't ever be any more like them again. :(

Re: New Movie house has the GH rights!

I'm with Andy on this. Although I made an exception for Keaton's Batman because it was still somewhat in the realm of comics despite Tim Burton's narcissistic ham-handed approach, I can't get into rubber suited or armored Batman costumes or all things CGI. Thor without the iconic winged-helmet lost ...

Anyone Remember Dark Shadows' Willie Loomis?

Actor John Karlen died on January 22 in Burbank, CA. from congestive heart failure. I wish him well in his journey. It seems every day more of the old childhood memories are being chipped away.

Re: 1970s Batman - Missed Opportunity

SprangFan, this is true. He was Superman in those old '70s Air Force recruiting commercials, but he never struck me as the Superman type. I believe he was more suited to play Batman.

1970s Batman - Missed Opportunity

I recently finished watching the entire original run of the Mission Impossible TV series. Every episode I couldn't help but notice that actor Peter Lupus would have a made a perfect live action version of Neal Adams' Bruce Wayne and Batman. He was a good actor and was a weightlifter as well as stand...

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?

The wife gave me a Thomas Kinkade Batman 1,000 piece puzzle for Christmas. I'm over the moon on this one as I'm a big fan of both and to have my favorite painter artist doing my favorite comic character is just awesome. Some of you may know how famous his style is for the lighting effects in his pai...

And then there's the real life Elf on a Shelf as shown here by WGN Chicago's Pat Tomasulo on his Man of the People comedy show (now over unfortunately).

Re: So were any of the 66 villians destined to be awful?

Actually, I didn't find the Minstrel episode too bad what with the disguises and computer rigging and all that. For me, it was one of season's 2's bright spots - one of them...

Re: FUNKO 1966 Batman 18" POP! LE 700 Figure Released and SOLD OUT!!!

I have two as well I bought way back at the beginning - a Batman and Joker. After that I got fed up as any comic store I walked into, and even the comic-cons, all started pushing a gazillion of these identical figures. I understand and accept that there are fans of the line, but I just can't get int...
