Re: 50th Anniversary Celebrations

It would be amazing if a UK based convention managed to organise a Batman 50th event. I really want to meet Yvonne Craig. But it would be a real victory for the UK to get multiple headline stars like Adam, Burt, Julie, Lee & Yvonne at one event. Fingers crossed. But I think it might be more realisti...

Re: Adam, Burt and Julie to appear at Steel City Com. Con

I've missed out on the chance to meet Michelle Nichols twice now. Once here in the UK because her queue was too long and I had my son with me, who was only one at the time. Secondly at Rhode Island when I meet Julie. She was one of a handful of stars that never made it due to the disruption caused b...

Re: Adam, Burt and Julie to appear at Steel City Com. Con

That's a great picture. I meet Julie at Rhode Island Comicon in 2013. She was delayed because of a shooting a LAX and missed the Saturday. But she arrived early on the Sunday. She gave the first guy in the queue a big kisses for waiting the longest to see her. She spent 5-10 mins with everybody that...

Re: Behind-the-scenes/filming pictures

I have never seen this photo before either. I LOVE seeing lost gems like these photos. I always wonder how many are still out there? Wow isn't Lee Meriwether beautiful. Thanks for sharing these photo's. Seeing the actors expressions and body language really gives me the feeling of seeing the charac...

Very nice. If only it wasn't so expensive. The rest of the range is really nice too.

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?

If anyone else would be able/willing to sneak a 3 Pack and a "To the Batcave" set or two across the Atlantic for me that would be fantastic! The prices for these on Ebay and Amazon have gone through the roof. The difficulty some people are having in getting these must bode well in terms of sales? I...

Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?

These showed up in the mail today. 2 are better than one, right?! :D -Jeremy The idea of even getting my mits on one is quite novel right now! TRU in the UK have told me that they won't be stocking any further Mattel 66 TV lines. They currently have the Batmobile and that's it. Ben I have a spare o...

I should add that I agree the comic needs to do more with Siren. She's always been one of my favourites.

Re: Batman '66 comic using villains outside the '66 world

I see the comic as a 4th, 5th, 6th season etc. which if these had been made we would expect to see new villains. The fact that DC is producing these stories now, means they are going to use their existing supply of popular Bat-Villains as "66 style variants" and I have to say I'm enjoying it. Plus b...

Re: Mattel Batmobile with Batman & Robin

Thank you guys. If you need anything checked out that comes out in the UK before the US then please let me know if I can return the favour. I do have all of the Mattel range so far except this and the completist in me says "it's not a whole set with out this". But the sensible side of my brain says ...
