Re: Robin Trunk Fabric "Buy In"!!!

Hi Chuck,
I know you are still on your well deserved Vacation. Was just wondering though if there is any update on the Robin Trunks?
Thanks,
_Steven.

Re: Bat Cuffs

I would still go with 3/8ths to 1/2 inch. 1/4 is way to thin in my opinion.
Here some photos of the real cuffs with Batman holding them and with them on
the Riddlers arm. They look much thicker then 1/4 inch. Just my
opinion though.

Re: Bat Cuffs

I would go with the measurements off of real handcuffs. The shape is more like leg shackles though as far as the inside hole goes.

Re: Adventures of Captain Marvel Coming to Blu Ray

I can certainly be wrong-- it's been a long time since I've looked at the Century 66 list-- but I thought Caps Marvel and America were two Republics who didn't get the feature treatment. I think you are right there Andy. At the time there were no known prints of Captain Marvel or Captain America, e...

Re: Interesting Batman/Superman Connection

For some reason (which was never explained other than "somehow") Lowery's character was also effected by Kryptonite except that when he passed out - or, as they put it, was under the influence of the Kryptonite - he GAINED superpowers. Since he passed out from the Kryptonite everyone assumed he was...

Re: Very Rare BATMAN 1966 3-Sheet Movie Poster!

That's a Beautiful Poster. Mines still in my file. I had my one sheet framed and it was expensive enough.
I have never gotten my 3-sheet framed, still saving and collecting so it may be a while. Also coming up with
the wall space. That's one big boy there.
Best of luck with yours, they are lovely.

Re: christopher Reeve Superman 100 % accurate replica

Looks Great, can't wait to see your whole costume. You're very lucky to find a source for the material and someone so skilled to make it. It would be a great addition to any collection.

Re: Robins Cape

I've been doing some more research on Robin's Cape and I think the cape had been re-used in another production. I think the applique was added after the serial. They where notorious for re-using costumes in other productions back then and adding trim or altering the costume. I can not find a photo ...

Robins Cape

I came across this in an old auction catalog and thought it might be interesting . I know Chuck has been working on the old serial Batman and Robin costumes. Here's the 1943 Robin Cape.
Enjoy,

Re: 1966 Kellogg's Pop-Tarts Comics

The Jokers happy Victims was from a Script in the 1940s from BATMAN #52 art by Bob Kane. I'm not aware of the other pop tart comics although DC was notorious for re using scripts not only from the same comics but re-adapting them from others. The art on the pop tarts comics was from: Carmine Infant...
