Re: Talk Episodes Here

I really thought that the discussed scene where Batman and Robin visit Rosetta Stone at home would end up as a scene that I hadn't seen before, but it never made it into the episode. I guess it ended up on the cutting room floor before it aired, because I can't believe they'd have wasted Kathleen Fr...

Re: Whatever Happened to Baby Jane (Towser)?

I guess I'm in the minority that thought she was great. Perfectly over the top and great looking. I could not stand Venus as a kid and still can't. It wasn't all Moore's fault, although there is a scene, I believe in the record shop, that she fumbles so bad that I can't believe it was left in. Kathy...

Re: show ?

I always wondered who the green and yellow guy was...

For some reason, as a kid my eyes just didn't register Penguin's hat in the opening. I could see his face but thought he was hatless.

Re: Lesley Gore's songs intact

I'm really glad that the songs made it. They fit the '60s mood and just add to the craziness. As a kid watching my tape off of The Family Channel, I couldn't stand "California Nights," which made their cut. Now I like them both. I just finished those episodes and there was a lot in the first half th...

Re: Julie with her stunt double

I just watched Dr. Cassandra and it definitely looks like the woman shown above as the double used in that episode. Even when I first saw the episodes at around age 7, I knew how shows worked and sort of figured that all of the villain "cameos" in that episode were doubles, but you could never reall...

Re: BatmanONDVD disks arrived

Got my Blu Ray complete collection from BatmanOnDVD today. Could not be happier. Picture is so clear that it's hard to believe these were filmed nearly fifty years ago. Going through the third season (my favorite) in the order that I had the episodes taped off of The Family Channel.

Re: I think I'm softening a bit for the third season

It's my favorite season. Even as a kid, I was much more into the camp and comedy than any "adventure" that may have been in the episodes. I'm not a comic fan or really even a Batman fan outside of the show, so this is probably part of it.

I'll be watching Season 3 on Blu-Ray first!

Re: Batman TV series DVD set in 2014!!

I didn't realize that BatmanOnDVD.com was offering full series sets until just now. I saw a number of people here say that they had switched to that, and was wondering why they were opting for half of the show. I canceled my Amazon pre-order immediately when I checked it out. All I really want is th...

Re: Great article re: the DVD legal battle

I hope we eventually hear how all of the individual problems (clearing costumes, designs, cameos, etc.) that were always said to be an issue were cleared up so fast. By fast, I mean in the short time frame that this article explains that the main rights were settled.

Blu all the way. I had a feeling we'd have seen a pre-release review by now, but so far nothing that I've come across.

Re: New Figures Inc '66 Batman figures have arrived!

There's a semi-local comic shop that I visit from time to time in a nearby mall. They had several of the figures, and I decided that I couldn't leave without Egghead, especially since they were $24.99 right off of the shelf. He's great, and I'll probably continue to pick up some here and there. Noti...

Mattel didn't do NYCC and Figures Toy Company doesn't do shows period. With the show finally being released to home media, it's only begun.

I'm sure in time for Christmas, as you can imagine how many DVD and Blu-Ray sets will be given as gifts.

Plus, since Surf's Up Joker is out, it looks like they're halfway committed to the line again.

It was announced today that a photo op with Adam, Burt, and the replica Batmobile will be offered. Pricing to be announced next week. I'm sure it will be in the three digits, but how many more chances...?
