Re: Kevin Nealon and Jack Black search for the Batcave

I thoroughly enjoyed that. We already know about the cave, the series, and the location, etc so it was nice to see them interact and hope they found it. Good stuff, sir, thanks for the link.

Re: Diecast (Hot Wheels, Corgi, Matchbox, etc.) appreciation thread

I found the silver 66 Batmobile on the way home from work! It looks even better than the pictures. They only had one, but at least I know the E cases have trickled out to here (central Texas). I’ll check for more this weekend. No Scooby Doo Batmobile yet. I think that dark green 66 Batmobile was a C...

Re: Diecast (Hot Wheels, Corgi, Matchbox, etc.) appreciation thread

The Bat..... not a popular vehicle. Man, that’s no lie. I stopped at WalMart on the way home this evening and where your chrome 89 would have been - four empty pegs and one peg with four or five Bats. Nothing else Batman either. In fact, it looked like they didn’t even have the C case yet. Sl...

Man, that is an awesome lineup! Super stocked about the Scoobymobile. Those closeups are the best pics yet. It looks fantastic.

Re: 50 yrs ago : Madge Blake RIP

Weird, but I’d sort of forgotten about her being Larry’s mom. Like I knew it but never gave it much thought. That’s two shows that were very formative for me that she was in. No two ways about it, both those shows were a huge part of shaping me.

Birthday card from co-worker

It was my birthday two days ago and a co-worker drew me a birthday card. He’s a very talented artist, largely sculpture and sketching. He’s had pieces in a local gallery, and has an incredible talent for taking two-dimensional characters and realizing them in three dimensions. He also does action fi...

Re: Evel Knievel Stunt Cycle Returns

Had that, the Sramble Van, and a few extra figures that I took everywhere. HUGE fan as a kid, possibly why I’ve been a daily rider ever since.

I currently have three pairs of Evel Knievel socks that I wear fairly regularly. Also a T-shirt.

Dude - Awesome! Man, that looks fantastic. Is it a Treasure Hunt? I’ll still keep a lookout just in case. There must be others somewhere. I love those singular finds when you least expect them. Well done, sir.

Re: I think Dozier rolled the dice with Gorshin

As I was quite young at the time, I can’t speak to who had more name recognition. As far as Riddler v Penguin is concerned, I see Riddler as a much better choice to launch. He’s a much more believable villain to me. Certainly more mainstream in what was already a big leap of faith in showing a live ...

I remember you mentioning in the past that short cards were for overseas, so I was surprised to see them here.
The grocery chain is HEB, very big player here in Texas.

Re: Adam West Tiki?

As awesome a likeness as that is for Batman, I’m betting the Joker will be cool too. Wonder if it’s the same company that did the Chewbacca tiki a few years ago.
