Re: The Latest Batman Item You've Acquired?

This one is closer to the new one we're working on, although the color scheme is too dark (IMO) on the cape and cowl. I'm rewatching the serial right now to work on a Lew Wilson Mego scale for my line of 66 Batman fantasy figures. He'd be in a crossover episode as the Earth 2 Batman chasing down th...

Re: Photos of Bat Girl costume for projected 1940's Bat Man Movie serial

I've seen Naish in several movies, and I'm pretty sure he always had a moustache-- so it could have been a Cesar thing here too-- although I doubt he had the same clout to refuse. There is sadly not much known about the serials, I have some stories and some behind the scenes information, I'm trying...

Re: Mego line heading to Target stores

FTC and Mego both are not worth buying IMO. Funko had the best figures but they bailed too fast. If you are into overpriced Happy Meal toys. Mego is a great line and FTC could be if they'd address issues. Mego is producing what Target wants and that is not selling. Target will either recognize this...

I am still of the opinion that TDKR is Batman '66 20 years later.

I'm still disgusted the Batman 66 comic still isn't an ongoing.

ehh, after what they did to Batman in the WW 77 crossover I don't feel all that bad. Clearly they were out of touch with the character.

Re: Legends on DC Universe

Another streaming service attempting to nickel and dime the consumers. Pass. You're more than entitled to that opinion, but in an era of such technological and societal shifts as to how we "consume" the content and material we desire, a dedicated platform like this actually seems to be one of the m...

Re: When Worlds Collide! (Funko)

I think its a really fun mashup— captures the spirit of He-Man right on. The best cosplay I saw at NYCC was a Dad on all fours as Battle Cat and his what looked like maybe 2 year old son on his back as He-Man. There’s a picture of it on the Super7 Instagram, I didn’t take a picture. I like anything...

Re: DC Addresses Hopes For SUPERMAN '55 Comic

would love to see this happen, and the inevitable 66 crossover. 55 versions of Brainiac, Toyman, or Metallo would be great to see. Team him up with Roy Rogers too.

So its not so strange and not such a risk for them. Brilliant casting of Ace as Battlecat.
I don't think Joker, Penguin and Riddler as a three-pack Wave 2 would be any kind of risk, either. ;)
Funko must see it as a risk or it would have been done.

Re: When Worlds Collide! (Funko)

well it will have crossover appeal well outside the narrow focus of this forum. The Heman format is big right now with slasher movie figures in the format too, along with Thundercats, Conan and lots of other stuff. So its not so strange and not such a risk for them. Brilliant casting of Ace as Battl...

next step is clothes loose. I am holding out for that since the AJ heads are UGLY and don't fit in with the FTC line very well.

Thanks. Hardly the Mego I remember.
you can still get the Mego you remember on ebay for not a whole bunch more than the new figures or the 30 bucks FTC charges for a repro
